It is Goa Trance.

It doesn't sound like Goa either....Correct me if I'm wrong.           Practice makes permanent.

I think it is wonderful of you to try and express your musical thoughts pisces, I give you mad respect for trying to make music. I do however think your tracks need a little more power and energy behind them. THey seem sort of empy in a way. I wish the best to you and you shouldnt let some of the other comments on this post irrate you, thoose comments are meaningless. ...peace and keep going.

Ok I got it, Malcolm You asked what you can do to make better sounds? Get rid of the program you are using. Loop based programs are good for certain things, not entire tracks. I have used acid many times and I can definately tell. However you have good ideas with the sounds you are using but the program stinks. Try getting ahold of cubase sx and get yourself some vst plugins. I have had alot of people tell me what I have done wrong and it's for the better, so don't take it the wrong way, but before you play in NYC you need some serious work. Learn how to use compressors, eq, and all the functions you can use with good programs. As I said drop the acid program. I am currently working with egbot as a side project to what I normally do. We have been working on a track that should be finished this or next weekend. I will post it here, and have a listen to the difference. Mind you it is full on, but you should get the idea of what a good program will do. I know I will get alot of mixed reviews and you should actually listen to some of the people who are in this post, most of them know what they are talking about, and after all they are the people who you want to move on the dance floor. Keep an eye out for the track in the new track post. GET RID OF THE ACID PROGRAM.

needs a lot more work... but a start is a start....

pouring beer into someone's mixer doesnt mean that you would make bad music... so dont let that comment get to you....

but like you need to put more work into the music, you also need to put more work into your... well.. I dunno, you tell me...
and be resposible for your actions like you want to be responsible for you music. get it?
good luck.

no one here argue's or discourages new artists...

but there is a way of going about things. you can't sit around your house for a week using low level programs and then come out asking for someone to book you.
being a DJ, espessially in NY is serious busness. it's alot of experiance, long hard work and good equipment. so keep on working at it, in the mean time learn to work on CDj's and try getting yourself booked, first mixing other artists tracks. then when you think you've got something up to grade start mixing in your stuff...
becoming a top DJ doesn't happen in a week my friend...
