Akon does have a unique voice. But I wouldn't say golden. He cant convince me when he sings live. Also I would guess that owning diamond mines like he does in Africa could influence his success
As for Lady Gaga, just the fact that she uses Illuminati and satanic symbols in all of her image and videos , and also she sells the image of dont ask and dont bother and be stupid superficial consuming teenage bitch, , makes me hate her too,

 whatever I don't love her she even don't look any attraktive to me my taste  , she just has good production skills,knowledge about it as a female in serious buisness and she is mulitcrative at what she does and makes tones of money with what she does.
Than I dare to say she will stay for very long there where she is.

oh I Agree she has those talents you pointed out , but she does fail horribly when trying to reach certain octaves that her voice was not designed to achieve , and while she is doing all that dancing which is extremely hard. But we shouldn't hate anybody this is true, hate is for uncivilized people. But I don't like the product called Lady GaGa
