hey if its like that then we can all make a festival...book few djs and artists and wait for the pre sales...if we have good presales then we can pay the artists, if not we call our bad luck and we ask em to play for free...close the festival one day earlier cause we dont want to pay the soundsystem for another day and in the end we can blame everybody else except our selves and we can get away with it...nice style!!!
When you make a festival you take a risk and you ll have the responsibility to cover all the expenses from the beggining and not wait for presales and entrance tickets...
Otherwise as i said before everybody can play this promoter game filled with p.l.u.r.....

so let's make a festival whith commercial names and shit music and take the money from the presales...except this...its a risk!you have to be a milionaire to cover the expenses if not having tickets!plus...3 more festivals are taking place in this small country in times of crisis this summer and one of them is pretty close to date!anyway...but luck for this event...catherine seems to have a vision something that lucks these days!full support for the future ones!! |

Regardless of who is right or wrong, the way you went about claiming your rights, made you look very bad.
I am not going to say who is right or wrong as I only know one side of the story, but even if you were right, you said things on public pages that you should not have said.

I totally agree as well the situation has gone way too far on public and even more than we also wanted.... but can be very frustrating when a personal contact with the artist seems to lead nowhere.
In the particular situation we had to react to the original comments issued by the artist who himself first selected to go on public with this on his FB profile.
Either way this is a case that will be pursued legally, considering the circumstances and our position as the organizers.
Once a formal resolution has taken place only then we will publicly refer to this topic again |
