rave = psytrance
rave by its literal meaning is very differnt... can be used in any genere
so many ppl have very wornlgy tagged raver only to a person who is a trancer

Raver is just an old term for party goers heheheeh actually i cannot beleive that this word still exists! But anyway it really does not matter what you call anyone because we love trance and no matter what we are called we are just dancing laughing and having a great time with the music and with god inside!

Raver = white gloves, UV pacifiers, spikey hair, shell suits, baggy trousers, shiny trainers.
W = who the fuck cares anymore?
Raver was a term coined in 1988 during the Acid House explosion and its continued use warned parents throughout the nineties where their children were going at night. "are you going to a rave??"
So - apart from a select few people from some countries, the word is just not used anymore, especially in the psy trance scene in the UK. We go to parties, squats, gatherings, outdoor gatherings and quite simply we are labelled as people - other people will shout "hippie" and "crusty" etc......but we are about as far removed from the original notion of a raver as you can get.... |
