Yeah, for sure... It was looking like it would be a wet one, but come Saturday evening, all was well.... and not in Humboldt...

Konvndrvm! Heard this sad tale after the fact.... NO!!!! You missed one of the best Gil parties ever. And yes, Laytonville is in Mendocino.
The one in Humboldt last year did NOT suck. I've never been to a bad Gil outdoor. This one was even better, though. That land is really special. Hopefully we can use it again.

It was off the hook!
The spot was the most magical spot i've ever been to in the states, lots and lots of space to wonder off and explore, creeks, meadows, hills and forest.
The energy in that party was amazing for me, but I felt like the sound was very bad however, somewhat painful to my ears to the point where when i did like the music i danced away from the speakers...
but that is the only issue i had with it, even the weather was perfect from saturday night until sunday night, no rain, lots of sun and plenty of smiling people!

So it was wet but it wasnt eh?
Trippy!!!!!
Also,
Sound is a major issue. Do you think it was the speakers or improper calibration?

Wow it was great! Rained a bit on Friday during setup, but the sun was out by sunday making it a warm and beautiful day. Beautiful location, music and people made it one fantastic time! |
