My first contact with this kind of music it was when the "teleport" came out from MAN WITH NO NAME(the yellow comp. from T.I.P)and I heard it in a club.I was a metalhead(the only one beetwen 8 boys) and everytime I heard Psytrance I felt my legs moving without know the reason.So I one day I said:Guys I find the music that fill my brain,and here I am.Destiny?Luck?Who knows! |

a cassette containing goa - trance music made me leave the hiphop scene, which i liked and supported A LOT...
it's better for me WITHOUT WORDS...
then i can give any tendance in my mind...

Surprisingly though, its main everyday use is as a vocative form of displaying one's befriending: "Yassou re malaka!" (in the same way that Australians use the word "bastard" and the British use the word "mate"). |

One of my much older and weird looking neighbours and a friend of his (who now are two of my dearest friends) were experimenting palying bass lines and percussion along with some peculiar sounds and beats coming out from what I found out later was an Alesis adat. I was a new guitarist at the time and they let me jam with them a couple of times. That was in 94 and I were 14...no luck...
A couple of years later a friend came in one day talking about apocalypse and stuff....
He had two tapes:
Astral Projection-Trust in Trance and MFG-The Prophecy.
My first impression was really bad but after a dancing session I got it.
