asaf, I remember you mentioning how awful the flashbacks of the LSD were.
WEREN'T THEY?
and i certainly did not say that you guys give them the drugs by forcing them to take 'em.
I'm just saying it's better off without.
The absence of knowledge is harming the ability of a person to survive, eventually.
But that's not what we're talking about 
anyways, each individual has his own ability to choose what he finds good for him.
Mistakes are after all necessary actions in order to live, that is why, again, each shall do what he wants, just better think of the cequences first. that's all.

psychology and sociology rox man .
i've learnt about some awkward distrubed behaviours and some really interesting normative subnormal and normal absences of societies, depending on individuals thinking, and the way his behaviour affects on it all.

well first off for LostBrainCell my suggestion is give her start her off with something easy like classical mushroom or shpongle-tales of the inexplicable oh and the method that i think works the best is: (ofcourse only if she have done it herself befor dont force her into it )
smoke some weed (u dont need something stronger) and put on infected mushroom- the messanger (i havent heard anyone who didnt like it especaly ppl who dont like trance) and ask her that for the duration of that track she will keep her eyes closed (very important) and ask her that while she is listening she will try and feel to where the music is taking her...
that is to my opinion the best way to enter to this great new lands of trance ))
and on all the rest of what has been talked here i am sorry to retaurn to talk bout drugs but...
lyri i agree with u in potential all drugs are bad but...
everything is a drug as been said here, weed alchol cigarets... choclate cook ... tasty food whatsever and if u go further along that by seeing that u'r "realty" (the one that u if u didnt know share with only u'r self) is also being contamenated by other ppl as well ...
so u can then retire to a small cave somewhere up in the mountiens and be secluded in u'r own perfectly pure "realty" (i for one am realy not trying to judge and i do believe that that sort of expirences are also good and i hope i will have the courage to try that one as well for a couple of month...) but as u see we all make our decisons about what part of adventures we take in that journey that we call life...
agian sorry for talking soo long but thats just what i feel ) |

Have you tried to give to your friend to listen some old goa trance(95/97) tracks? Something like transwave, Astral Projection,Etnica/pleidians,electric universe,Man with no name,mfg,juno reactor,x-dream..
For some reasons old tracks can be more enjoyable than new tracks.

Hey all, everything is actually very simple. Generally speaking, when i first read the question, i didn't actually think this would get to drugs, then again of course, this is israeli forum .
Anyway, to find a certain solution u don't really have to be direct, try sidecurves, don't introduce her into "trance", but to something heavily connected. Now drugs, first of all, drugs are part of a political propoganda, they do not exist. What exists are organic molecular structures, some of these alter consciousness. But even those which do not alter consciousness are essential for life, nonetheless they are just as active. I will discuss those which do alter conscuousness - psychoactives. These substances are used by two groups of people. By the knowledgeble, and by the foolish. You see, both groups of society use psychoactives to achieve the same things. The only difference is that the wise use it as a "STEP" along the "PATH" to a goal, and the unwise use it as THE PATH to a goal. So basically speaking, these are tools, which we can use to achieve certain goals - as long as we know how to use the tools. A simple analogy would be: if somebody chooses to skee of a mountain, and breaks all his bones in the process, who will you blame, the mountain? Look at a flower in nature for a long enough time, and you will see how much it has learned, how much wisdom is in this simple flower.
It has been around much longer than humanity.
We have much to learn from nature, instead of rejecting this knowledge, we must embrace it and learn from it, -it's still waiting for us, peacefully, quietly, while we, like morons, roam around it destroy it and fight wars around it, covering it's pores with concrete, polluting it's blood with radiation and useless waste.
So my advice would be, a quiet natural spot. Shpongle, and indeed, possibly a substance
which will induce altered consciousness. Do not use MDMA, it is fake and useless, it will not let her undestrand what she needs to understand. Cannabis sativa, or any other sort of cannabis is useful, but not enthogenic enough. If you have access to Peyote or san-pedro cacti(mescaline), OR psylocibin mushrooms (magic mushrooms), it would be excelent. Combination with cannabis might be rewarding. Since it creates physical comfort, and increases appetite, as well as it will help Understand the intelligence of the music.
The Cacti or Shrooms, will create the "Divine moments of truth" The reason i recommend specifically "shpongle" albums(both) is because in these albums, simon posford and raja-ram, focus on the connection between music and nature and altered consciousness (in my oppinion). If she will understand the complexity if that music, everything else will be just the continuation.

Meanwhile it doesn't work very good.
The girl calls trance "Male Music". She prefers progressive (She can listen to single tracks from my loved "into the perkness" compilation). She cannot listen to full on and to shpongle.
She agreed to come to a nature party in Israel, so I still hope. |

I just had an incident with my neighbor.
I heard the bell ring, I opened up and I saw someone I didn't know. He said: "Hello, I am Asaf, your neighbor". "Good to know", I said, "Do you want me to lower the volume?" (some neighbors asked it from me in the past). "No" he said, "I just wanna know what you're listening to, I really like it" ("Another Life..." was playing the background).
"Come in", I said, and he did.
Then I showed him the CD and he was very very interested.
Touching story, eh?

An update of the current status:
Last weekend in the Natraj Temple club in munich (trance club) she told me suddenly:
"I think that I start to like it. I really feel that I want to dance but I don't know how to dance to this music."
It looks to me that the girl is ready to her first nature party + E next weekend when we will visit Israel.
I feel great responsibility on my sholders. Please Please Please don't post cynical messages here. It is my responsibility to make the magic happen. If you can help (party next friday 26/07 anywhere in Israel), please PM me. |
