Its not a novation synth, its only the automap wrapper that is showing.

its ZebraCM (a free little brother of the Zebra2 from U-he.com). you will get it with the cm-mag.

zebraCM is a beautiful vst for psy bass, definitely recommend buying a computer music magazine purely for that (and all the other vst's and effects they have on the DVD!!)

i just get this zebra cm free synth its realy nice for a free synth! you can do good bass with it but you get good bass from nearly every synth or not? |

get zebra 2 and then you can make the osc 100% stable (like a sample) (disable osc. drift+phase reset, this disables the analog behavior of va oscillators). with the full version f zebra2 you can also make your envelope more aggressive

for gallop bass i always use my horse, he does it best...
of course i put on him some rubbershoes to get that rubber bass sound...
if he dont want to gallop i sometimes do it my self, i make a course through my apartment and put microphones all over the place and gallop around.. wooden shoes for a little edgier sound and rubber shoes for that classic sound.... Just make sure you dont step on the beat
works in most cases...

That's the way to go.
So much time trying to achieve decent basses... now i can laugh about this kind of jokes n____n
My tip:
Find the exact velocity / decay so it gets speedy. Exact env mod too, milliseconds can make a huge difference. Good luck. |
