Hi Friends!!
I would like to open this topic, to know what would be the proper way for a foreign trance traveller to behave in India, what are do´s and what are dont´s, Please advice Any topic is welcome: Drugs, Sex, Party, the idea would be to make like a guide of how to party safe and have a very good time in India. When I am traveling, it is nice to learn about the culture you are visiting, and respecting it. So please any advice is useful!

Hi Marco,
Depends which part of the country you are going. Is it rural/urban/psy vibe friendly etc..
I'd suggest a thumb rule would be observing things around you and deciding for yourself.
eg It used to be OK smoking in Goa but not anymore(atleast in most parts)..so obviously if you don't see people toking don't be the first one to go boom bolenat and fire one up 
Sex is booming like never before, so put your best game on and 'cleanest' foot forward (Under the IPC, oral sex is an offence but no one 'takes' it seriously)
Parties are hard to come by at this time of the year, I would try to find something up north if that is really a must. Shanti is much easier to find than party imo, lots of parties happening in Europe where dont have to worry about zillion things !
As I said using the all prevalent 'common' sense eg Not carrying too much cash, not entering a dark alley by yourself will get you along just fine !
Enjoy, and yea if your in Delhi give Adi a call (coz he is really a killer guy and will show you the time of your life  )

Thanks a lot and for sure, the things you have said are very true and are in fact like 1) rule in my book, it is just better to know some things first and from people that have lived or live there. Because they will be able to tell you best..... and I appreciate all the comments as they are very nourishing.... |

as a traveller u can always do one of these things
keep a folding knife,dont show off ur money,dont keep narcotics in larger quantities(10gm is fine)and keep ur chillums and rest of the stuff concealed,dont smoke in public places where smoking is prohibited,always keep your luggage near and be vigilant,use ur smile to get away with unwanted public encounters.......etc etc
telling more would be to alter ur natural responses.
