how should u look to get into a party in the red room

last night i went to ultrasound red room at "kibuzt yagur" wanted to listen to some good tunes and wizzy noise was playing there so what the hell .
i got in no worrys but there were a grop of ppl that didnt look any difrent then all of the rest that wasnt alowed in couse the selector at the entrence called renat (the blond one) said to them "u dont look like a part of the Scine". that wasnt cool at all they didnt look like "shimonim" or "arsim" well i ask you what should ppl look like? do all of us need to have long hair goat bired and say boom as an answer for anything.
to bad she didnt let them in couse' wizzy noise was killer loved his funky set fast funky some times deep but allways changing keeping things intresting.

also as you said: do we need to answer the questions correctly?
i need to plan a mission in order to get in to the Red Room. and I AM ON THE LIST.
they are just commercial and greedy.

well first of all wizzy noise gave a teribble set!!!
he didnt even look once and the people that could hardly dance for that music!
it was a full on headache!!! really was diffuclt to me to get through these 2 hours!
after him though sub 6 gave a really nice and groovy and much less full on that they usually do!
i have really enjoyd it!

(now seriously, I suggest you vote with your feet - never go to the UltraSound again. Some of my best party ppl are ppl who will never pass a selecto-bitch at the entrance of a club....)

you can stay as Hypocrite as you like but at the end the quality of the ppl inside the party is the most important thing.
no ballons, no mess, nobody bugging the girls inside, no "monkey" acts, whistling and yelling....and so on....
it is true soetime the way it is decided who gets in or not makes big mistakes but in the long run partys who dont make selection are making the real mistake.... |

So where do we drow the line is there a line that ppl should act by like dress code or appearance couse if there is a way that trance ppl should look like I think we are missing the real point of free expiration im not trying to be a saint I don’t like shimonim or arsim hitting on my girl friend or acting monkky like in aparty but what make some ppl look part of the scene and others not and no selctor is in charge of it !

If we dont have dreads, wear the latest space tribe fluro clothes, smoke the bong, listen to the right music and know how to say Boom with a cool expression on our face then we're not true members of the "tribe".. The whole idea of this scene is (or was) that no matter how you look like (you can come in a suit for that matter) your welcome. Sadly not much people today know the first thing about how and why this scene started and what the idea behind it was. Now they just want to be part of something "in" and cool. Just as in any other youth culture. And they dress and act the same way to get a feeling of being part of a group. That's ok but it's not ok when that group get elitist and think they are the "right ones" ! In fact they are very far from being anything but wrong in this scene 
Keep the scene free from fashion trends, elitism, judgement and let everybody be individual. Then you'll see our small scene grow stronger and stay fresh. |

Ok ok, hold it guys...
You are mixing a few different things. 1- There is nature Trance parties that are maybe the closest to the "old days Trance parties" (but anyway it's far far away from being the same), minimum selection, no age limit and basically you can come and do what ever you want.
2- There are established organizations for Trance parties. They can make parties outdoor or indoor, it doesn't matter- anyway it's an organized event with proper security, sound system, bla bla and selection because each promoter is based on his own "kind of" crowed. If you invite many people to your event you can decide what is the age limit and what kind of people will get into your event. Now, I'm sure that if someone will come with a suite he'll get in! Selection is for those people who make your party looks like it's a demonstration in Gaza strip and believe me, you don't want it in your party, so f**k the old spirit with everybody can do what ever they want, we know what we want: an Arsfree dance floor ;-)
3- There are clubs that work on a regular basis every week and play Trance music. Our label has its own line at Luna Club and also a part of the Red Room line at Ultrasound Club. Now, the fact that we play Trance music there it doesn’t mean that we have to act like it s a Trance party, it’s not! It s just a normal club that invites a certain kind of people (basically students together with our friends from the normal parties) and wants to keep his line without any problems, fights bad atmosphere and so on. Believe me, it s hard, I know what I m talking about. If we don t do it, it wont last long. I totally agree with you that the selector can t speaks to you the way she did and I personally say sorry in her name and will talk with her about it but please try to understand that this job is one of the toughest. I myself could have never done it. She has to deal with so many people, lists and guests while everybody calling her, yelling at her and so on- it brings you some nerves I'm telling you.
Also age limit is important as the official line is Students Parties and it doesn’t matter what kind of music is played in, younger people can go to the soldier lines.
I can continue and explain more things but I really wrote toooooooooo much, I think I'll log out from this forum for the next year ;-)

and if u cant pass the selection u can always go to the main entrance and come in through it!
