And before the wise on this forum speak out.. I'm talking about an average.. maybe you can tell me the longest and shortest you took for a track, and why it took such a long/short time?
Nothing is said that has not been said before.

the shortest 24 hours, when I've been really inspired.

the most 3 months, because my dumb ego wasn't letting me.           Peace, Love, Light and Harmony

I have no production knowledge at all but from the conversations i had with many many artists through the years i would say that a good psy trance track needs something like 2 weeks in the studio.

Unfortunately very few artists work that long for a single track in their studios and the results are preety much well known i guess...           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

I've hung out and seen people spit out a full on track in 2-3 hours... others like neo Goa and some of the more technical stuff takes a week or 2...

I think it depends on what you wat to achieve... $$$ or a high standard of music... and the results ALWAYS speak for themeselves.

to make a fully complete track it takes infinity because it is never good enough for me, but to make a less full complete track takes about a couple of weeks to one month of working minimum 2 hours a day. longest - hmmm i have a project which i really like and i started doing it like 2 years ago and im still workng on it sometimes. the shortest time that needed to make a track was 2 days in a peak of inspiration           VA - Momentum vol.1 - Compiled by PhaseTech
