so how much do u spend every year on music
i spend 500$ per year on music
p.s. not jus trance but all genres.
  the problem with valuing art is, till u dont understand it, it's worthless but wen u do understand it, it's priceless!! |

woah thats some amount! say twenty grand in rupee terms ? to be honest i must be spending 100-200$ a year .. the shipping saiko/psyshop charge is a bit to much to for liking .. i'd rather pick up good music at a retail store than order online and get ripped off. Because really good psy music hardly hits stores i dont end up spending a lot.

i spend close to $2000 on cds annually, about 85% of that goes towards psytrance the rest is spent on house,pop,rock,hip hop and other random genres. i spend about $100 for buying case logics

well even i wud have luved to spend that much on music but then, i spend more on my photographic equipment & DVD's & books.
maybe this year i'll make better profits in my business & the spend more

all my money goes on alcohol. 
I buy a cd here and there once in a while.. if there could be some stores here that could sell the music it would be so great.. that all of us would save up on the shipping, and hence more people can afford it. Nothing is said that has not been said before. |

hehehe i would not have an idea man...probably i would have bought a house with only all the spliffs we smoke let alone other things like equipment, parties travelling! I could not even try to calculate so i just live day by day!

Not as much as i used to spend in the past,i mean somewhere in 2000-2001 i made a simple order on a psyshop that existed then named www.israelism.com for around 1600 euros (there was no euro then but that was the ammount in todays money).The guy who owned the shop got tottally crazy and was sending me free cds and promos on a weekly basis after that LOL
In our years i would say i spend something like 1500 euros annually for music from which only 10%-20% is related to psy trance since i still havent checked out the rest 1000 maybe more psy cds that i got in my collection.Thats what happens when you buy music just to buy it,you got no time to check it out.

yeah about $2000-3000US... mostly on psy but also on metal... a bit as well on loiunge/funk like Thievery Corp. and their label. |

I think 2007 was one of the years I spent less money on psytrance CDs. I'm trying to buy only the essential releases. Still have some good albums on my buying queue... I think I spent around U$ 400 on psy this year, maybe a little more.
