Hi there i would like to know how is your psychedelic hearth right now? I mean are you happy with the scene you chose to be in? Do you think there are ways it can improve? what do you notice that is better or worse in the scene nowadays?
For me my hearth is craving real parties with different people all over the planet! It's been such a long time that we have had a good festival for us, not because we do not go but because the music and the people have grown and everything changed for something different! But we all know this and i am not saying this to moan, i think that if we work hard we can get back part of what is lost, and we are really working hard on music to make a small change or else be something different in this wide ocean of musics.
I am interested to know your point of views...

I'm disappointed with the scene at Brasil, specially about one day parties. Festivals are slightly better, and if you manage to go with some nice friends it can be a pleasant experience.
What is wrong in my opinion? The way people behave. Some years ago it was much more about having fun with friends and listen to some good music, the social vibe was nice.
Today, specially in the big commercial events, you can find a lot of people completely disconnected with the music and the original ideal of freedom and respect. People act like "I bought my place in this party" instead of "I'm part of this party". Some people seem to be proud of having no respect for nature or other human beings.
I'm attending few parties per year (this year only one party and a Festival) and I'm planning to throw some free parties again, like I did in the past.
The most strange part of this all is that the very artists and labels I support (by buying their music and other stuff) usually want the scene to get bigger, with more big parties, they need it to survive... A lot of artists and labels are constantly seeking promotion and there's no bigger promotion that big parties with 10.000+ people.
However, I believe psytrance will never die, there will always be small underground spaces with nice atmosphere for a good psychedelic/introspective trips while dancing.

I agree if you are connected always a good underground party with 500/700 beautiful people with amazing vibes just came from Belgium WoW amazing vibes at the part good 500 people good music (Night/Day music)amazing location 3 days party. and the people there were fun and for real ! so real that almost everyone at random picked rubbish up from the floor in the day time also the once that paid to enter the site including me and other artists there no difference between us we as one family these are the good parties INMO for me, and we had the same fun in Bulgaria, Norway. Austria, Ukraine, etc not to mention that Boom festival although it's huge it was also amazing they just keep on improving in many ways so much change from when i was there in 2000, so i say yes there is improving ! but for the good small once I can prove 100% that there is still nice spirit flowing in the underground scene you just have to be connected ! and that goes for the music too !
the scene is growing the parties are too.. if that you don't l like simply don't grow with it !

As for the parties, I haven't really been to many other than the local US ones..
But I can say three things, imo, about the music in general :
Ambient/Downtempo/Freestyle - Beautiful new releases..I'm hearing great new sounds from budding virtuoso producers of the scene..very impressive.
Prog - A few good tracks and albums out there, but being wayyyyy over released..
FullOn - The morning genre is becoming more dominant by the month, imo. I think it's appealing more to the people getting into psytrance than the dark and harder styles (which are more difficult [imo] to understand)..I think this shows that the people getting into morning now, some of which are future producers..will have an impact on the condition of the "psy" in psytrance...
I say bring in the trauma!
anyway, its all good nonetheless..as long as people keep doing their own thing and being creative, the music may evolve, but it should keep the same principles..

i guess i ve never actually beeing in the scene. i would love to feel IN a nice scene but i dont know sometimes i feel better listinening in my headphones than in a party.
i would definitly suport small parties. |

I think that when the music is really psychedelic it makes people become one, not matter what you are or what you were before but through this experience you become one with the music, the people and the nature!

A good question.
I have mixed feelings about the psytrance scene here in TX.
On the positive side..I've met so many awesome folks through this scene. People really are in it down here for the love of the music. It's a small family really, and such a close-knit group. Plus it's about as underground as it gets..pretty DIY. The vibe at parties is great, and we've got some awesome stomping grounds in the boonies that are often so out of the way the cops can't even find the place on a map.
On the downside, there has been alot of drama of the 12 year old girl type..infighting, name-calling, elitism, and some nasty words exchanged. If you are from TX you have probably seen some of it play out. Also I think there is a bit of an overly narrow focus on dark psy versus other styles. I like both the dark stuff and the funkier full-on and morning styles, even a little prog. (Not into the super-poppy fluffy shit but not afraid of melody either). I think if we branched out a bit more, our scene could gain more diversity and grow in a good way. Also Meth and K have both made their way into the scene here, and it brings a really bad energy to parties, plus extra police probs we don't need. Their's nothing sadder then seeing someone hopped up on speed instead of adrenaline.
Meth's some soul-killing, evil fucking shit, kids.
All in all, I feel like there's alot of potential for our scene..if only more people outside of TX knew it existed. |

The scene enveloped on a good progressive line.
Too much newcommers with some money from there parents are realy borring and stuppid.
We need psy laws and justice.
Some great artist keeping the scene alive with there strong messages recieved from outer space and higher densitys, from a beigns technologicaly advenced from us, puting this informations in a wave code named psy trance, they are truely and spiritualy enveloped souls making there mission on Earth correctly, but we are the stuppids, "People of the World", and we dont understand the point of this process and we are the guilt for the situation in the scene. Our degrated mind and brain are programmed not to do as they telling us, degradation of the human councissnes is the key of our evolution and the evolution of Creation.
There are only few chosen artist who gives a fuck for a psy trance sound of the wave-way, sharing Universal informations, other ones doing this just for succses and recogniton, puting some hidden dark messages in their names and tracks not realysing that they are controled from a different alien beigns and from underground bases via satellite and implants(Sirius Isness, Theoreme; Colour Saturation, Space Tribe Music) in their heads and suptile mindchips telling us a new meaning of the psy trance.
The scene has, since i know it, just receantly, accepted the worship os satan and masonic values as a part of are evolution and civilization in mission making Earth a place for betther tomorrow, yeh wright!!!!.How?
Too many new great brains and souls are capptured in this magical controlled circle of a specific sound that makes them happy dont understand it how the programm can altered their view of perception and meaning of life living the psy trance and not learnig from it.
I can tell you for sure, that the alien influence is now bigger than ever specialy during a period of goa movement, and the contact via audio-projection (travell in a mind moment to other stars experiencing and feeling the emotions from a higher levels of advanced life existed soul reflections taken the suptile and spiritualy advanced material bodys) in outer realitys is now more posibble then ever.
Every human being can try it listening the great Pleiadins - I:F:O: album, whos open a mindgate to the seven main stars of Pleiades and entsure us contact with civilization caled it self Pleiadians (density 6).

The only problem IMHO is that these days there are few who gather for Music & there are loads who gather for everything except Music. Sadly yes, but gonna be sunshine again.....
