how is the dark trance scene in usa?

hi folks,
i'll probably be visiting my dad on august and would like to know some info about the dark trance in usa, specially on the east coast/nyc area.
i got a darkpsy project that will be releasing its debut album soon @ avatar recs, and i'm interested in getting some gigs there and have a great time!
so can you guys help me with some nice party crew contacts, links and stuff related? i've checked the info thread but maybe you can give me some more specific and direct contacts. =)

The alladin group puts on the ORB festival in New York ( www.alladingroup.com ) . You could pm good carma (he's the one who started the orb festival thread on here) to get started. Hopefully someone who actually lives on the west coast (I live in the midwest) will read this thread, but I figured I'd give ya some info incase it gets overlooked.

I'd also recommend checking out "Those People" in Asheville, North Carolina... Also the Atlanta psy crew does a lot of events and likes the nastier end of things too, but that's a little further south... Of course there's always us over here on the west coast, you'll find a lot of variety here in Cali
an Portland Oregon is a good place for crazy music. An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. |
