How do you feel about tech/trance?

Tehc/trance does NOT meen minimmal!
It is not pure techno.
Its just the techno grooves with the psy-sounds of trance. |

Agreed ...
e.g ... urrmmm ...i'd say noma and necton r tech trance .
They add vocals too , hard beats , no melodies ...
Personally I reckon tech-trance is pretty good , depends on the up-beat .
Tech trance is built on layers , repeats itself (the bassline).
At least that's the way i see it , correct me if im wrong .

Synthetic is tech/trance and it is not minimmal.
Same with son kite(some of their stuff) |

i personaly love both techno & trance but i think theyr`e basicly diffrent. trance is more spacy more psychadelic (can`t realy define it) where as techno is more cold,repetative,harder in some ways,i don`t know it`s hard to define. but each of them has a different fill and i don`t know if combining them is the right way to go . but hey i`m a great supporter of experimenting. the first time i realy got a chance to realy realy listen to tech rance was at a party in the dead sea area last pesach where one of the guys in wizzy noise played a great,hard,
mind-blowing-knee-busting set. and frankly it scared me i didn`t know where to begin comprehending with that , but once i got into it it was great. on the other hand borris claimed he combined some techno in his set at the moksha party in the lake
(although i still say i didn`t here anything even remotly sounding like techno) and if that`s what it is then it sucks. but i realy liked what that guy from wizzy noise did. anyway, i say like every recepie in order to come up with a good thing u got to combine the right elements in the right amount on the right timing.......

Well, tech trance is great when you're angry ;). Hard beats, Hard Bass Lines, but not so many samples. If you want an example:

Midi Miliz also make kinda tech-trance .
n if Son Kite r classified as tech trance than so r Ticon .
n wizzy noise too , my friends call it hard-tech-trance .
hehe , too much styles for one genre ...
Anyways , for me it's a mood thingy .
Though son kite r always good for me .

I sorave agree with shroom. i don't know tech/trance but i do know NU-NRG ......(same thing?) I think Aphex Twin's industrial tracks are the best if your angry. |
