Hi i was wondering if anyone would mind giving a listen to my short Kick & Bass sample and tell me how i can get rid of so much static sound that the VB-1 creates and just generally make my Kick & Bass sound a lot phater.
Many thanks

sounds pretty fine to me, maybe some eq cut... might define it better, and round it more throw the other elements in... and hear the overall mix, cus thats what a song is bout not just the bass n kick hehe, im sure u know dat..
or u can also filter the bass which i tend to like more than eq... ur decision, ur the artsit paintin the canvas but try filter and if u dont like eq to ur taste...

sounds good to me too...
so make a track of it...

what you could do is to lowpass the bass a little to get the click away.. also to make it less static try different velocity settings on each note or some of them...
and make some note longer and some shorter...

i think its also more about the other instrumentation that will make the track sound static or not....

automate different parameters on synths and in the mixer... just play around and have fun..
