That's the idea -- small space, small but tight crowd. Something like the Fridge Bar would be ideal -- small, dark, loud. I'll hit you by PM once I get to the point of actually putting something together, and then we'll just see if the whole thing sticks.

the reason is the same in every country
party makers concern for money and for how many people are passing the door..and coze we are not so many in the dark scene yet, they dont feel safe to make a dark party,
in greece most of dark parties end up not earning money..<
but hey, these are the best ones 
anyway, thats the idea of a party at the first place, iznt it? the gathering and dancing and the happy time.../...without caring about earning...only money .. >
London needs more dark, as athens and every other place on earth

you like metal? cool.
but i liked metal as well. everything from commercial stuff like metallica and slayer through to evil grind stuff like carcass, cannible corpse, morbid angel etc...
system of a down are for kids, but i'm not going on about that.
who gives a fuck about styles and divisions. like full lotus says, is it not supposed to be about the journey?
at the end of the day everyone wants everybody else to be into their style of music. so it's an arguement that will never be won. |

i don't think a club night has much to do with a journey. there is no journey from night to day, it's always dark inside, you can't flow with the elements. always feels weird to me stepping into the light for the first time in the morning, drenched in sweat and beer, stinking like an ash tray an getting blinded by the light.
book spirallianz to play, i'll come
have been hearing a lot of good tunes away from the psytrance scene however, chunky minimal techno does it for me now. try looking towards this scene in london as it is huge if you are looking for intelligent 'trance' |

Hey, not sure if this is the same sort of thing you're looking for, but if you like it full-on hard and dark I am throwing a party on 28 October called Dark Psy-D with DJ Rizo from Dark Soho. It's at Electrowerks, £5 advanced.

i am sure candels wouldnt be allowed in a club.how about we wear blind folds and do it in the day,or else even better,why dont we do it blindfolded in the dark wearing black on a night with no moon.wicked |

Btw, this music is getting played more and more, maybe not so much in London. I played at a party about 2-3 weeks ago which was pretty much all night time psy-trance (or dark psy if you want to call it that) until the morning. Of course, it was not advertized on this forum. For finding parties/people into this sort of stuff in London/UK, I suggest checking one of the UK forums, plenty of people getting into this. Btw, there is a party scheduled for the 19th Nov.
