Agreed that he might be using the same 'nervous' bassline in most of the tracks but to really fathom whats going on under the surface takes more than just listening. I guess one has to be in the right "mood" to listen to this , if you get my drift. This album is not for those looking for killargh basslines.

i agree with the most of the reviews here bad & good , i try tu make basslines from heavy metal bass but like i see many people dissapoint with that and they dont like ,respect tu this opinion i cannot make all people happy this album was last year from me is old story i make somthink diffrent now and like evrybody try tu find somthink new and good. nobody is perfect evrybody try ..... for the copy all the time same track and make some acid changes this is not true . each track i make from begining is same because is same compressor and same EQ and also i try same story ... sorry for the people i dissapoint with this style i try tu make them happy in the future but like i say i cannot make all happy ..
About the furious cd is nice man but i think he have topic with hes album reviews so you can make commercial there i respect all the stuff you say about my cd i try tu be better but is not good i think tu make challenge tu diffrent artist on this topic.

hmm what to say i realy like this cd, speacily since i heard zik playing it live..
i think its got a good build story and nice varity of sounds.
good work and iam waiting for more!!!
about the baseline its not what i prefer to play but its not hard to see why zik is using it then as more phat the b.line is as less space for sounds...think about it

I don't think intense listening is needed to this album as there aren't any hidden agendas here. It's a great change from what's been being released but I suppose sometimes people get carried away with a new style? Although I will give my appreciation for the atmosphere created in all tracks. Quite scary.

this guy makes some of the most amazing music
and most of the people on this review board are just bumming him out.

@Evil Doctor - I think everyone has a right to an opinion. You to yours and mine to myself. I don't really get why you have to keep defending your own opinion about this album at the same time impose your own over others. I don't think anyone is taking any sadistic pleasure with some negative feedback about the album. All of us pretty much know how capable Zik is an artist..fine indeed.

I havent heard the whole album i like zik's music its has been changing all the tracks i have heard are different from the last but i know what acidhive and other's are pointing here i have a same feeling for "Old Iron Madness".

This album is surely unique. I'm not sure how much I like it (I should listen to it on a better pa than mine at home) but it is interesting for sure and also hardcore for the night-time. Pretty well done overall I guess.
