Haven't read the entire thread, so I don't know if it has been mentioned before, but I watched "1408" yesterday and it was a very good movie and a strong experience - I was actually still thinking about it this morning. Especially the part where the main character (John Cusack) is back in the room again.
Very psychological movie, and the best new horror-movie I've seen for the last few years. Has some very interesting and overwhelming twists. DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

John Carpenter rules !! best horror movie for me too and i think it was the best for the protagonist who played (hes a b-role actor dont remember the name )
also "The Prince of Darkness" with Alice Cooper doing the zombie!!
hes actually in his domain  , he didnt even need any makeup , hahaa
