I was there 5 days and I had fun each night & day especially on the last 2 nights when I enjoyed the music so much as I never did.
I was not on any drugs except alcohol+XI and I danced for the last 15 hours of the festival because I could not leave the main stage - the music was JUST GENIOUS.
It is obvious that you cannot satisfy every one's wishes, (put it here...put this there...) but I did not care about the 353 NIS that I`ve paid because the music was all worth it and the company of ppl I`ve met there was also very pleasant.
It is correct that maybe a 5000 ppl more may have made some difference in the amount of pleasure of the experience.
I would pay this kind of money again to be there and to be able to record the dj's performance some how with good quality.
So everyone who diss ppl that were there, made it, paid it and created it, better think if his opinion again.

just some facts..
the last MOKSHA party (befor the festivel) was 1400 ppl @ gilboa
with one of the mein electronic bands in the
modern scene and the party was not closed.
the only partys that where closed by police was purim @ 11 in the morning and independance day unfortunatly @6 morning..
so befor u use "facts" i sugest u check them...

and after reading the review of moksha party.. i saw diffrent atitude...

with all the bad vibes i had i will always give moksha another chance
they are in the trance scene more then 10 years if i remember correctly its 12 years or its 9?
and like i said i know some ppls from moksha
so it will always be an option to go to it
even if the last 2 party's closed moksha its moksha mate =]

they only shutdown the music, they didnt tell us to go away.. anyway i stayed there for 3 more hours, under a tree flying high in da sky.. again- they can never stop the party in your head!
wish there were more comments about the festival, glad some people enjoyed it!

Coming back to my unappearance in Timna and the problems inside the organisation,after few days I can make more clear and obvious picture of Holy Rave.
As I understood,the main reason that not enough people appeared, was the high price of the enter ticket,and the fact that now is 2007 and not carzy 90's ,when people were ready to drive anywhere and pay whatever.Also place is close tro arzim areas,and probably the name is a bit suspicious.
Then,as it learnt,it was the first festival in this place,and I think,the inner-area regulation ( as distances,shade,etc. ) are forgivable for the abovemention reason,and just must be changed in a better way for the next edition.
Also I spoke with Slider lately,and he explained me all the situation with dj management and transportation,so as I see it was more missunderstanding between me and the orgainsation,than Slider's mistake,as he was responsable only on the booking parts.So,hope for the next year ( if it will happen ),those who are involved in the artist administration will do their job better and more professional.

As I know also,the party was good,killer sound,good music,and those who were their had a good time ( some sweating also:)

Ok...Since i played in both moksha and holy rave..i want to clerify some things..
Holy rave porduction was amazing somthing for a really huge event i dont know what are the resons they didnt have 15000 poeple but the production was for that amount of people..Silder did a great job in every way possible thats for sure!
Im sad it didnt work out as planned and i hope with all my heart next year will be a sucsess.
About Moksha i also played in purim and it was amazing.
about the cops shutting down th event in 10 am..what can they do about it ?
I think that Moksha is one of the best organization in israel...and the party in Achziv was out of this world.
so all the best for both!!
and a lot of respect to those poeple that work so hard in making those events here in israel. |
