about the fact that this "festival" was commercialized i have no reason to complain it was well known far ahead.
in spite of this fact , the amount of people [in & out ] , were like a small gathering . and far from a commercialized festival .
the treatment of the people who produced this event couldn't get any worse.
all there strategy with the 2 buses to the party was dreadful.
i can only say that few nice sets got me going and staying in this event.
i think that all the people that came , came with anticipation for something very big to heppen. but nothing big didnt realy heppend.
far from it .

i think the fact that more than 3000 people didnt came is because that the promotion of this party wasn't enough.

commercialized but yet not enough (:(:

good things about this party :
amazing & astonishing spot !!!
one of the most beautiful places i have ever been at.

hope youll have more luck next time !
be less greedy [350\450] = to much !!!

keep the spirit alive ! (:

pictures of this festival [by me] will be uploaded soon ! (:

Well reading these last posts, actually made me think that the name (Holy Rave!!!!) i previously censured is in fact very appropriate. A cheesy name for a cheesy party. I think it's time for the people to start paying attention to the sort of gatherings they go. Events like this have no connection with psy-culture or its vibe. Money and more money is the only goal and psycadelism is just a brand to sell.
It is very important that the future of psy-culture (music, attitude, goals, arts) is not in the hand of such people who, at least nowadays, complitely lost the purpose of it. Comercial(in the negative sense) festivals in the summer and psy-culture in-a-can for everyone to buy.
I worked as a promotor(to the main non trance events), where bussiness is the key and it hurts to see a contra-culture going the same way. Psy-culture is not about these mega, comercial events full of bull-shit publicity and people that apparently couldn't care less.
At least im happy there are still some free parties in Goa( great set X.P. - Cherim beach) or others non-free around the world, that at least carry some purpose.

For sure....Keep the spirit alive!

Well...I must say I registered in order to write this post.
A friend of mine and me went to the festival
on thursday noon and arived around 18:00.
At the begining the first thing we noticed was the preety small parking lot with only around 100 cars there...we thought it was rather small for a 40,000 ppl event..
After passing the entrance which was empty
aswell we waited around the bus to take us to the camping site. We had a small chat with a beduin bus driver who told us that lots of ppl are leaving insted of coming to the festival...
When we got to the camping site it was a bit hard to find a shaded spot to build our tent yet at the end we did find one spot..
We then headed to the party site which was located 10-15 min walk from the camping site.
Its true..swimming in the lake was forbidden,
the food was horrific (Why in god's name did
they sell meat there ?!)
We honestly don't understand why ppl are complaining about the walk from the camping site to the party site..We think separating
the two was an execelent idea and we even enjoyed wallking to the party site at the evening with all the lamps that where streched there.
I remember times we needed to track for around 2 hours just to get to the party...
It was always a nice adventure rather then a bad experience.
We do think the organizers did a tremendous
effort to please all the ppl that came to the festival.
The children's tent and playground was great.
The lights, sound system and D.J's line-up
was absolutely, with a cherry on top, AMAZING.
There was always plenty of water to drink..
Even on the road wallking to the party there was a water spot.
We came home last night(saturday)with sore
feet, very week and tired yet VERY VERY
HAPPY with our decision to come to the festival.
We had a blast time..The ppl there where all
nice and smiling, the music was great
and we had a shaded spot to lay our head at
the day time.
Those of you who went there and stayed till the end know what we are talking about.

hello ppl,

now my point of view is simple statisticly,
this party was one of the worse ones i'v been too not to mention how mutch money was spended to be there while some big old names with big dissapointment when they aswell became commercial fool on shit.
Only the natre place of the party and juan verdera who sticks to his roots was worth it, the worst part is i could have a lot more enjoyed myself in moksha whit a lot less money involved in a big picture one artist (S.P) beat a big list of artists and ppl should learn from this no offence timna thats the truth from my point of view peace all.

Regarding my previous message,I want to notice, that I am speaking only about my personal case and the unnacceptable and unprofessional behave from the side of the people were involved in dj management.
I am pretty sure that the place and the music were great,( thats what I was wishing to get ),and please,I dont want to say anything bad about Holy Rave,I am ,as I said ,very sorry ,I havent been and play there because of the falt of one of the branch of the organisation.I know who booked me,and I felt greatfull to this person till the time the things happened and I've got abbandoned:) in Tel Aviv...

1st bytes of the blast.
I`m uploading stuff I got with my Nokia N73. videos, music, recordings, and some photos for the ppl that missed(!) the party. sorry for the sound quality, you know its hard to record 48 turbosounds from a <100m radius with a cellphone, but it does make the job of letting you feel what kind of ingenious music some genius DJ's were playing.

Also scanned the information leaflet with the lineup by hours of the DJ's.

Note: Sort the files in the directory by their creation date and match it to the lineup hours to know who is playing. we all know that XP was not playing

The link is at the bottom of the post.

About the organization and production:

GREAT:
Main Stage sound quality, DJ' lineup, length of the festival, location, lightning setup,
availability of basic needs and their upkeeping, food and drinking prices, "coffee house in the cave", division of camp/stage/a.stage/toilets

OK:
1.Bus frequency can be faster, ALSO during the late night/morning
2. Provide more information to incoming ppl about what is inside and how it is working inside.(I did not know that there is a bus connecting the main stage and the camp at first when I 1st came with all the heavy shit)
3.Too much police

COULD NOT BE WORSE:
1. Cars moving around and wind stuffing their dust in my throat. If there is wind don`t move the cars if it is not emergency.

2. Most days no shade on the main stage when the music is playing

3.Don`t sell meat in the desert, it just does not work as expected.

Afterall I am happy that I was there and some not pleasant stuff happened to me(lost my favored pair of glasses), the music made it all worth it.

Thank you production team and asher haviv.
