Dear Mr. Ott is really incredible what you could achieve with an Atari and an Akai. That track is still one of my favourite goanish tracks. My compliments for that! I had it from a dat and was called "angle of light . anamatha" so as u can see the name of the track varies, as hippies were always stoned when copyin tracks or maybe that was just invented. In any case was there more material done? i think you made something monstrous there ! Plus i have a slightly different mix of it that came on the dat, more analog feeling, maybe an earlier edit? who knows! If u want both mixes in full quality i'd be happy to send them to You! I will also send u a PM. Cheers!

Greetings All )

It's Darren Evans here, co-producer of the Centre of the cyclone track, and ex-label manager for Dragonfly Records. Apparently, some people think my involvement with Dragonfly was that I " just worked there for a year. "

In fact this is untrue. I began working at Butterfly studios in 1994, and was label manager from 1996 untill 1998. One day, an unknown sound engineer worked there for a techno band, and I decided to get him some more work, so I booked him to engineer several tracks for dragonfly....eventually he was to become the other co-producer of the cyborganic track.

If you want a 100% proof of Ott's guilt for that tune, dig his remix for Hallucinogen's Beatiful People on V/A Demented.
Compare between the 2 and you shall get the answer.

Same here. After listening to Black Ops, I knew it was Ott. How could it not be? Listen to the mastering, the feeling of the beat. Jupp, it's Ott all right. I just read until page 5. Wonder if Ott him self has admited it yet. Better read more...

Ok - just to recap...

So far we have a correspondent of Aldous Huxley's, masquerading as the journalist from Orson Wells' radio production of War of the Worlds, but named after a Japanese hermit, and made in a Russian military ejector seat, referring to secret operations in Southern USA involving Unidentified Flying Objects, arcane military hardware and plausible denial.

We're still no nearer the truth are we....

Sounds like the story of your Black Ops track if you ask me

Why would he tease us with such an amazing track and not release any other 4X4 goodies?

I thought about this track earlier today, i played it as soon as i got back home and...well, not much to say, I just want some more.           the sky was pink

I can't believe that Hikikomori is suppose to be OTT even though it seems like it is. I just don't hear any similarities music wise and production wise. But then again Hikikomori sounds very much like an alias OTT would choose (the meaning of the word). Plus the "a trance track by a twisted ambient genius under the name Hikikomori." text at the Twisted site. Must be OTT.

Production wise it sounds more Prometheus'ish to me but i think i hear some samples that Posford used in the second shpongle album (that strange native yelling) but that doesnt mean shit. Also that hihat sample sounds totally Posford/Shpongle'ish.
But theres a 303 line going. Simon and Prometheus dont have a 303 AFAIK. There a 303 line in OTT - Billy The Kid Strikes Back.

Must be OTT i guess.

So was it confirmed that Ott was indeed behind Hikikomori? From discogs seems so.

And thanks to Darren for coming around and explaining the full story of Cyborganik.
