in the last few weeks im trying and contacting with pictuers in parties sites, i already spoke with 4 of them and they all more then interested to try this in our scene, imagine this: you are finish to recover from the great party that you have been and instead of start looking for pictures in the forums you will get into a special designd site and can see all the pictures of the parties from this weekends...
i just got a massage that we got sponsered from the 3rd pictures site in israel ....
all we need from the organizers is: like in the club scene, 2 1+1 free entrance for our photographers and details how to get there....
we are starting from this weekend to collect pictures from parties ! for further details PM me, for the forum managers, please, dont delete this thread and if you can stab it?

oh god, where do i begin ???
ok, lets start at the top: bad idea. especially since i see already the name of the only production i party at on the way to your web-pages.
now lets go back to some basics:
going to trance parties has a direct link in our brain to freedom.
freedom of our day to day lives, freedom of jugemental people, freedom from certain laws, and so on and so on.
a very big part of this, and ask any starting raver and he will tell you, that he never felt as though "nobody is checking him out" as much as he felt it in a trance party.
it is in fact the base of getting into an emotional trance state... knowing that no one will look at you oddly, or judge you.
now, i get it... you want money, you have a site, you will put some adds, people will come in, maybe a small forum, we can all check out layla and atraf.
what we dont want is someone taking our pictures while we are in the middle of what ever it is we want to do in a trance party: dance, laugh, meditate, be naked or just goof around.
I for one hope that the parties i go to to party wont let your photographers in.
dont take my freedom and make a buck out of it, cause i had enough of it already
p.s. this is written in regard to an photo-site like atraf or layla, or whatnot. NOT, and i mean NOT, in regard to artistic photographers such as pol, trance-mama, yuka and so on.

That was a crappy idea to start with I would end it right here and now. But I never been popular with my views. 16 year old rule the trance scene anyway

Avishay, I dont think he ment the 3rd empire production, but 3rd site or smth like that.....at least I really hope he didnt.
Anyway, bad idea. I dont think its a suitable thing for underground trance parties to have external photographers who come to take pictures of ppl partying........we dont want it to be "like in the club scene". I am fully satisfied with the amount, creativity and beauty of pictures taken at parties I go to.

i think that in my 7 years in trance im pretty inside and not outsider,
i saw this idea in australia and thought that it will be great here....

Yo mate with no disrespect whatsoever some party organizations really don want this, either some artists and party goers dont see it as 'too great' that their pictures will be on mainstream sites such as Layla or Atraf.
You must understand that Israeli reality is much more different than the one in Oz. The chances of party been busted here by bad vibe ppl and vandals is much higher than in Oz. I wish it was different but it s not

i think that party people with the cameras that post here or on production sites is more than enuf... we dont need people interrupted or some people starting to act out for the camera... trance parties should be left the way they are (camera wise) and anyway someone sharing the same vibes with u and his camera - his photos will come out much much better for everyone invloved 
so ya i understand what u r trying to do but no... not a good idea leave the party photos and poses for those lame clubs people tend to put so much poza on... |

Oran I find it not so funny that you talk before u think. And indeed there are some "artistic photographers" ALLEK that do great work with this party line u r referring to and most of them do it from love of doing it and not because they want to publish their pictures on Layla site.
Sometimes I find your cinisizm coming from wrong places. Maybe u need to go out more, just have some fun, without judging ppl all day long. Just hang around and enjoy.

What I really like is those ppl that know everything and can criticue basically anything just from sitting in their house and surfing the net. Thumbs up Oran
Secondly yeah man I totally dislike that picture carnival around THAT production. But I cannot ignore that thru those 3 years that I came to know this production, and thru making some underground parties myself another form of art appeared. And unlike you, I know how to respect those ppl that make an art out of Photography. First time I seen pictured that POL taken from a party I arranged with Com.Post @ the north of Israel near Adi/Harduf, I was pretty amazed at his talent. Later on he made some smashing series of photos from THAT production and yeah.. I appreciated that. After he was joined by some more really skilled photographers and yeah I enjoyed ( and still enjoy ) to see their photos, since they do it great, they catch the vibe and live the party. What is wrong with that?
