He's trying to say that he was not booked for this show, and it's highly unlikely that many of these particular artists were booked either. It's very probable that the particular promoter who made this lineup didn't bother to contact any of the artist and assumed that people would be uninformed enough to find out what was going on until they paid for the ticket and went down there... Looks incredibly shiesty to me...

Another thing that raises a big red flag to me about this event is the fact that it is not mentioned at all in the North America forum except for this particular thread...

I know for a fact that Naked Tourist has another event in the US that weekend, and there's no way in hell that someone is going to spend that much money in plane tickets for a festival that won't be promoted here...
It always disheartens me to see such things like that within our scene... Reminds me of this one candy trance party way back in 2000 where it was advertised that George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars were playing... I went to that thinking they were gonna show up... man was I peeved after paying $60 bucks at the door for a whole bunch of happy hardcore...

I think you're right mubali, and as a promoter myself, I feel embarrased & sick to my stomach to know this does happen.
I feel bad for the artists are that are having their good name used & abused!
I'm sorry Cosmo, most promoters aren't slime-balls like that. 
It would be great to find out who the culprits are. At least the artists and people that payed for advance tickets could get legal satisfaction!!
I associate Trance, be it Goa, Psy, Prog... with Peace, Love, Respect & Unity. Not sleezy, cheap, sneaky, dishonest rip-off creeps! We need a clean sweep of these type of people that are giving the music we LOVE a bad name!

think that was a really bad joke or just another false attempt to stole some money (pseudopromoters) unfortunaly i have seen it with my own eyes and i know for a fact that it used to happen back when i lived in GDL and its a shame that it does still happen what do they try to get, doing and giving away flyers with fake info and fake line ups???
i would say its just about money now and thats whats gonna bring that shit down and thats sad really sad, because, i had my first psychedelic xperience in an outdoor gathering in my hometown Guadalajara and it was just amazing. that i wish i could just be the same for most of my friends who still have to deal with such a things...
