Very Good luck for this release!

Mexican Trance is growing a lot, and with some very intersting artists...waiting for the tropical twisted sound.

Thanks for all the great responses here

this is the press release info

ARTIST PROFILE

TRON vs IMPLANT
Tron has been an active producer for quite some years now. Toured in the UK last summer, and is touring UK and all Europe again this year. His debut album is programmed to release on Liquid Connective UK, famous for their legendary parties in the UK, and now they’re launching the label! Implant has been producing music for some time now as well, and together they’ve created this magnificent piece which properly opens way to this new world of music. Trancey, groovy and rhythmic, this track builds up the vibes!

ECLIPTIC
Maia has recently welcomed the already legendary Mexican band Ecliptic to the team…
why legendary? Because the Ecliptic boys have been rockin' the trancefloors since the Mexican "good 'ol days", when the psytrance scene popped in these lands.
Created in 1999 by Raul Mejia and Juan Carlos Navarro heavily induced by their love to psychedelic music from the older days. Since then, it's been over 5 years that these boys have been working on their very own groove and funky rhythms that uplift every party’s vibe, fulfilling the dancefloors with their positive energy. Their unique sound has made thousands and thousands dance in the sunny mornings and afternoons in Mexico's most important festivals and events, and have been presented in several countries already including Brazil's biggest New Year's event Universo Parallelo, and will be seen touring in Europe this summer! We have 2 truly original groove rides appearing in “HECHO EN MÉXICO”. And their debut album will be released on Maia later this year... sooner than you could think!!

D-TEK
No introduction needed for David Durst’s solo project who on this occasion brings forth 2 exceptional collaborations:

“Cyber Ego” with DJ Celli, well known for his solo project Earthling, and his side projects: Soundaholix along with GMS, and Vatos Locos with Nick Doof and Xavier Fux. These two boys got together for this very serious round 2, after having delivered “Earth Technologies” featured in D-Tek’s debut album. As interesting as it can get, Cyber Ego is everything you expect, plus that what you don’t.

Also featured is the very special “Don’t Go” produced by D-tek and Ronen Dahan aka Perplex. Everyone who has been dancing to electronic music for some time now, will sure get a kick out of this amazing tune! It’s these boys’ tribute to Yazoo’s all-time hit, “Don’t Go”. Tested worldwide, this bomb track rocks big time!

THE MELOVSKYS
D-Tek and Dr. Panic hit the spotlight in 2001with the super fun guitar hit “Psychedelic Cowboy” released on TIPWorld’s Assassi:nations. Shortly after, the duo decided to take separate ways, Rodrigo Baills aka Dr. Panic joined forces with Emilio Hernandez to give birth to The Melovskys project. The boys have released several groundbreaking tracks such as the tribute to Jimmy Hendrix’s “Purple Haze” featured on TIPWorld’s “Stringadelica” compilation. keep a close eye on these guys as their debut album is soon to be released on TIPWorld this year!

MEXICAN TRANCE MAFIA
The Mexican mafia is back! After the first release on Solstice, MTM has been releasing his stuff on other labels such as AP, Psyclon and Funghi Records. Since his former collaborations with D-Tek “Mochiro” and “Apple Talk” (released on Amber and Time & Space pt. 3 respectively) have been quite successful, on this occasion the mafia brings forth a remix to D-Tek’s “Videodrome” included in his debut album “Earth Technologies” released on Maia Records. This remix certainly funks this story up, defying all laws of gravity, the Mafia strikes again! MTM’s debut album is in the making and will be delivered by Maia records in the near future.

KAMIKAZE
For many years now, DJ Manolo has been involved in most of the Maia projects. His evident talent has made him Mexico’s most solicited new generation DJ today; playing in Mexico’s most important events and parties… he just knows how to stir the crowd crazy! After working undercover in his studio for some time now, he’s released a collaboration track with Perplex on his recent “Perplex and friends” album on Ajuca, and now the 20 year-youngster is ready to present his first solo tune “Paz Mundo” (Peace World), a pumping creeper that will kick the dust anywhere it’s played.

A.X.L.
After many years as a musician, Axel Dupeyron was exposed to psytrance music and immediately found himself hooked… ever since he’s been working on his A.X.L. project and is now making his mark with this finely produced monster stumper, “Where’s my Elephant?” This bright newcomer understands no meaning of the word limit. His creativity goes beyond to twist and turn those hard to reach neurons of yours and make you go berserk with this unpredictable quest to find Bart Simpson’s pet elephant.

SHARIGRAMA
Sharigrama started off several years ago being founded by Carlos Gonzalez “Vampix” and Carlos Siliceo “Chaq”. Their immediate response from the crowds built a fast but solid reputation and quickly began playing at Mexico’s most important events and festivals around the country, as well as quite a few important parties abroad. Their release schedule also got quite busy, and started delivering tracks to labels as Alchemy, AP, Psyclon (Mexico), and more. With the very unexpected and unfortunate decease of “Chaq”, Vampix now has overcome all which implies the loss of a loved one and half of the team, and has taken the Sharigrama sound into his own hands in honor of his mate, and in honor of what had been achieved already. The Sharigrama debut album “Mexican Mushroon” was released earlier this year on AP Records, and impacted the world with their new tunes. “Mexican Mushroom” not only received excellent reviews, but even a Psyshop CD of the week was accomplished. Now presenting his new material on this compilation, Human Trinity is a heavy rubber-burner with a hearted feel to it, that will make that moment special. Ideal to wrap the compilation with the golden ribbon, and leave you wanting more!

ALBUM PROFILE

Ever since the psytrance sprouted in Mexico in 1998, several producers have taken on the quest to create their own sound… as the years have gone by, more and more producers have added to this mission, and have finally reached today a level of production and creativity worthy of the most demanding trance DJ’s and listeners; making Mexico, one of the most interesting countries to look out for new talents and fresh ideas today.

Following up to the high standards set by all Maia Record’s former releases, “HECHO EN MÉXICO” presents an exciting adventure through the colors and flavors of Mexico, showcasing only the best and most original tunes from Mexico’s finest artists: from the few well-known producers such as D-tek, Mexican Trance Mafia and The Melovskys, to the hot stuff that today’s spreading all over, as Sharigrama and Ecliptic, to the brand new and undiscovered talents that will surely hit the spotlights in the future as Tron, A.X.L. and Kamikaze.

Nevertheless, this first volume of the “HECHO EN MÉXICO” series is barely a slight taste of the big Mexican sound wave that will imminently strike the world in the upcoming months! Maia has yet several aces under the sleeve, so buckle up as there are quite a few more names that will be revealed, appearing on the future volumes of this series, as well as our other releases too…
