Well Timmy, I think the sample in Abracadabra's excellent album is not funny, rather amazing really. It sets the atmosphere for the whole album and I know that it means a lot of Idan.
As for Hebrew samples, well, they usually don't sound good. I think that Hebrew is not a very musical language, probably has to do with diction and accent or the way the language is build, dunno.
There are a lot of Hebrew related names of tracks and albums in trance, which is not a surprise considering the amount of Israelis involved in trance.
Some examples with names in Hebrew or Israeli sleng:

the one and the only Hebrew sample for me its in old Aquarius Twins excelent ambient album (still my all time fav downbeat cd) - Im schizophrenic and me too - 6-th track have a baby sample say "ha kol beseder ?? ha chemech zorahat", make me feel soooo good..

and a great hebrew sample can b found in o`cheese`s track from the devil is a d.j cd....
