I love dancing with the kids!!!
I am so happy that my final move west is able to coincide with this event.
Ananda is doing well, but still needs our support by help with overwhelming medical bills.
Can't wait to dance with all my friends in NYC (and the ones coming from Philly too)!!

peace & love.

APHID MOON
Aphid Moon is the solo act of producer & Dj Jules Hamer. He has released two albums so far. The first called High Diver on Dragonfly Records in 2003; a deep night time sound with a distinctly British psy-trance flavor. His second album Global Culture was released May 2005 on Nano Records has really moved with the times and technology with fatter more fullon production and an infectious dance sound.

With the help of the insane software revolution he has steadily been developing his own unique style. Over the last decade Aphid Moon has released on countless psy-trance labels and played DJ & live sets in Japan, Israel, S.A., Brazil, Europe and the U.K parties and festivals.

In the past two years he has teamed up with trance legend Dick Trevor (Green Nuns, Dickster and Jumanji); together they have formed Aphid Moon & Dickster (aka.AMD) a formidable trance duo. With a number of killer releases so far they've recently finished their first album now on Nano Rec. 2007. www.amd-trance .com

This year Jules has been settling into his studio working on a new rockin sound and a roster of new track for his Third Solo album Due for early 2008. Watch this space.

To hear samples of tracks from his extensive discography and keep up to date with the latest gigs and releases please visit his website www.aphidmoon.com in the links.

Review of Global Culture in Mushroom Magazine Sept 8th 2005: Aphid Moon, Global Culture, (Nano) CD

On Nano records Mr. Jules Hamer presents his second throw of psychedelic glam. His hard driving acid theatre made of clear grooves and intense psychedelics stands out of the league of full on you know already. Within a fist full of great tools for global main floor stimulation his music is real progressive, and its sharp and toxic enough to expand your boarders of dance experience. This album demands your energy to create the floors collective. It will make you dance this summer if you want or not - be sure.

This is psychedelic trance.

KENJI WILLIAMS

“I have heard nothing comparable”
-Mushroom Magazine

"A Visual Music Composer"
- Apple.com

“Kenji Williams is a name to remember”
- Audio Video Revolution

"Cutting-Edge Musical Composition"
- Tricycle Magazine, The Buddhist Review

Creative Director and Composer, Kenji Williams is an award winning filmmaker, music producer, and classically-trained violinist. A world bridger of music, visual arts, science and philosophy, Williams has collaborated with international DJ John Digweed, evolutionary philosopher Ken Wilber, world famous painter Alex Grey, the Gates Planetarium Dome Theater (Denver Museum of Nature and Science), and is exposing his solo work from big music festivals around the world, to mainstream television, film soundtracks, to institutions such as NASA. In addition to public and critical acclaim, Pioneer, Panasonic, and Sony corporations have sponsored Williams with technology to support his artistic vision.
Combining unique skills in film and music, Williams has earned international film awards from the CSC to Sundance, exhibited work at the Smithsonian Institute, garnered speaking invitations around the world, and is one of the handful of selected artists actively sharing art, ideas, and visions with other featured guests from Deepak Chopra to Larry Wachowski (The Matrix) with the Integral Institute. Williams has been featured in the media from European publications and BBC radio, to mainstream Japanese press, to NPR, Tricycle, XM Radio, AV Revolution, XLR8R, and Apple.com. Composer and producer of 6 music albums, Director of 15 films and music videos, 3 feature length projects, and 2 multimedia theatrical live shows, Kenji Williams is respected as pushing the boundaries of audio visual art and performance.

Born in 1974, and classically trained in Violin since the age of 7, Kenji Williams performs live ethereal- style violin, with a laptop and drum machine transmitting self-produced classics to the dance floor. Tracking Kenji's multimedia career, from classical violin training, to his early influences in Detroit and European techno, to a BFA in Film Production, and touring with Dub Hip Hop Reggae bands and trance group Medicine Drum, while simultaneously producing and directing films and music videos, the combination of ingredients that make Williams' art fuse into an exotic and tantalizing audio visual experience. AppleMark

Kenji Williams is booked from Europe to America to Japan, performing at rock, techno, trance, and ambient events, from intimate underground gatherings, to world class dome theaters, to 30,000 person outdoor events. Williams has also collaborated with visionary artists as Alex Grey in the ‘Worldspirit' project, critically acclaimed by revered philosopher, Ken Wilber.
Collaborating with the most respected artists of our time, Williams is re-shaping the context of communication arts by pioneering new worlds of musical composition and performance, while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of film & visual communication. Considered by many as a "next level" multimedia artist, Kenji Williams delivers unique and un-matched talent to the audience, with a violin that shatters any stereotypes of cold electronica.

This is all new, might have to try to keep the event going a little later...will try.
From Eitan Brown:
"Niki, founder/owner of Mighty Quinn Records is in NY for a limited
time, and he would like to show his support with a dj set at the
benefit. He is obviously not asking for any money, being that it is a
benefit... he really just wants to support the cause. He is a genuine
guy and a superb dj. I explained to him that the lineup seems to be
almost all progressive... he can play soft, hard, fast, slow...
whatever fits the time and place. I've seen him do it. Personally, I
think he would add variety and subsequently draw more people to the
event who wouldn't otherwise come. As far as the quality of what he
would bring, he has my enthusiastic endorsement, for whatever that's
worth.

Peace... and I wish you the very best with this... I'll be there with
you in spirit."
