Psytrance and psychoactive drugs only stimulate your mind, what to do with this stimulus is variable ... Some people use this to better understand the existence in this wonderful and complex cycle that never find the "full knowledge" because in fact we dont need it but spirituality begins there ... the endless quest for understanding our own cycle ... our life, not to understand "all things in the universe or multiverse"!! So, in my personal case, the answer is YES!

There was this time some years ago I had been snorting joggingshoes and later was offered a mouthful of liberty caps (I had forgotten that I was full of hurryUp-powder). That night changed my view and shield against spiritual wholeness. For better and worse.
I had been loving and exploring psychedelics and psytrance for about 4-5 years before this episode happen' and forced me to dive from the comfort of my surfing board into the blissful unknown sea of spiritual enhancement. I love it and regret it. Things where easier before the spiritual mega understood that the more I get and seem to know, the less I realize I actually know, which for an atheistic mind can be bothersome.

Hehe! I know what you are talking about man. I find it a very cliche saying, "more you know, more you realize you dont know" (?) but its so damn true!!! Infinite possibilities and infinite mysteries.
One thing i do know for sure and still trying to come to terms with it...
Whatever this Truth... it cannot be 'understood'. Because we understand in our mind with words... and the Truth is too big a Truth to be understood through words. We are not capable in this dimension to see the bigger picture. Maybe that's why a combination of trance+dance+psychedelics gives us that glimpse of the Truth... you know the "Eureka" moment.. usually we can Experience it in a split second.. but the Knowledge of it lasts forever.
Nevertheless... this seeking and exploring is a way of life now. And id say more than trance its been 'Lucy' that has boosted my interest in 'Spirituality'.. and in psychedelic music also -.-. .... --- --- ... . / .-.. --- ...- .

Drugs are giving only false Spirituality.....! :/ There's so many of you as i can see that talking about some "Spirituality" with drugs...hahaha...give me break xD i given up all drugs including Nicotine and now im with spiritual high 24/00h per day !!!!!!!!

That's the same sort of rhetoric, born again christians spout after "seeing the light".
The idea of some purity/sanctity of consciousness is a spritual pride, and you seem full of it.
With drugs, or without it doesn't matter, what matters is what each individual does, feels and experiences, and a person only hold the way to their own path tbh.
Great you found yours, but don't mistake "your way" for "the way".

+1 Yup. And I'd say it's much like music taste. No one's taste is better than another's cos it's their own experience etc.
To the original post, the experiences I've had with psytrance complemented whatever ideas of spirit I had in those early days. And I really appreciated that cos it gave me a good feeling, like I was going in the right direction; that is, self improvement. So that's why I jived with it.
I dig that feeling a lot.

yes it did boosted, but i already had this interest.
When i had 16 years old i came to learn bout the buddhism and start to read many books bout such thing
Then when i had 17 years i leant bout 2 things... one was the site www.erowid.org and the other was the psytrance scene.... which triggered my interested in smokin the first marihuana cigarrete and go to the first psytrance party....
Then i made many friends in this scene and many "junkies" friends and i totaly forgot why i first went to the psytrance scene... so i kind of " lost " the interest in the spirituality...but then years went by... i started to drop those friends i made and kind of stayed on my own in this scene and for some reason the spirituality came back and even stronger...
now i m 26 and i can say the most big reason me and my wife are still going to the psytrance festivals are based on the "mystical path ".... ( ow and well we love to dance aswell )
as someone has mentioned .... drugs + psytrance stimules ur brain..... what one does from there s variable....
so not only the psytrance and the drugs but THE PEOPLE U WALK WITH will influence in ur variable....
but i also do agree when KRAS says bout the SEXUAL AND DRUG ABUSE happening in the scene...
it sux...and its leadin to energetical battlefields in the dancefloors... and it makes people who supports spirituality to desilusion themselves...
but we gotta remember that not everybody has to follow a spiritual patch... the people there dancin in the dance floor are not obligated to follow that patch... this s not for everybody..but for the most curious ones... and the people who doesnt like that patch will feel ofended if u get into that subject coz it ll make them thinkin u are underating them...
so IF YOU are in the spiritual patch u cant let urself down only because there are too much drug/sex abuse as exemple in the scene....
people are just different.... with different interest... and even tho psytrance can trigger spirituality it WONT in everybody...coz those people do not wish to...( or coz they think such thing doesnt exist or coz its indifferent in their livings...)
