Hard times now, labels dont record, artists play live not live, music is pirate, internet is everywere, distributions lie and stil money from labeln, artists are poor and hungry, dreadlocks are long, soundsystems are bad and forest trance is dark.
In this hard time we must unite, we must be strong. |

Everybody and industry goes through financial and emotional sh!t and it often lasts for a long time.
The strong survive and those who aren't fall to the wayside.
I for one think a good example is Protoculture moving in these times into the commercial trance sector and from what I've seen doing rather well.
I think this might be a good time of cleansing for the scene in that some of the less favorable producer & labels & promoters may drop out and leave a cleaner and better scene for punter to enjoy.
Life's a journey, not always fun, but all you can do is hold on and ride it out, enjoy the good bits and hopefully provide some useful teaching and life skills to others.
I have very little in the way of music from this scene on my headphones, mainly chillout & the minimal goa/psy from the 90's that I still have.
I'm hoping in a few years this scene will be worth spending money on again

these synthetic sounds is damaging your brain.
take a drum into the forest and trance out.. in the dark scary night it you prefer.
grow a vegetable garden. catch some trout. (not for profit,, only what you need) . i've heard what happened with greedy trout catchers in canada. no more delicious trout and no one understands why. fuck money.
soon you can not breath fresh air and you will not understand that the problem is that hummer in your garage..

There was no evil lord, just a lack of land as it had been divided up centuries ago in this country, and most of the population rounded up via the land enclosure act and herded into urban population centres.
Neither am I inclined, nor do I think it is right, to take up arms against another for space to live. No amount of justification can make it right for me, though neither do I blame those who found themselves born of no choice into such circumstances on either side of the divide.
