Most people that don't like psy haven't seen hallucinogen live. I was there, and it's a spiritual experience.
If your afraid of music touching your soul, well, don't see his live act, and hear some mindless droning techno. If you like PSYCHEDELIA, there's only one master on the trance side of it. And no, it's NOT Talamasca :) |

lets say that tekno dont tuch your own soul becoze mine robotic/cyberg soul cry evrytime i hear some good hardcore but YEAS Simon is most buetifful music u can hear under psy drugs... period. |

IMO techno aims at your feet and mind. Trance aims at those too but also at your spirit. If you're looking for power, trance can't compare to the harsher techno. Plastikman has some of the most intelligent music out there.
What makes me prefer Posford over Hawtin? While one aims for frying your brain, the other aims for taking it somewhere.
... but that's just me. |

To all Hallucinogen devotees,
I still think Posford should be turned into a ice sculpture on permanent display in finland.
:)
I have no idea what revolution he started, except to make psytrance commercial. No doubt he makes good music, it's quite ingenious and well designed, but so does X-dream.
and fyi, i HAVE been to a hallucinogen show, and that is why i say all this. i heard so much about him a few years back, but was not very impressed with his music, whether shpongled or hallucinogenic (though i do love Raja ram so much, he's an amazing personality). so last year i travelled quite a bit to see Posford live, and i cannot say that my views changed much. He is great, but not the ultimate.
These are just my views, i know there's a lot of you people who swear by Posford and nothing i say can change your views, but then again, nothing you say can change my views either.
