Just noticed that Haldolium covered Foo Fighters' - All My Life in their last album.
Nice...
I think that if Infected would have done something like that they would be bashed instantly. But Haldolium?
It's a nice track either way i look.
Double Standards? In Psy Trance? No way.
Ok flame on.

the thing is that haldolium knows how to do it properly while on the other hand many other artists in the scene don't..           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

Foo Fighters is Dave Grohl's (ex Nirvana) current band.
They had descent start but they lost it recently.
Will check the review.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

not to go too far off topic here, but before Nirvana Dave Grohl was the drummer for the punk band Scream, from Maryland, I believe. early 80s.

punk roots is good.

why should they be bashed for a beautiful song. it is a really kickass song in my pleasure list. they should be congradulated, thats what i think.           `Bottomless wonders spring from simple rules, which are repeated without end` Mandelbrot

I guess the people who likes mostly progressive sounds is much more united than people who likes the different full on styles, they criticize full on artists in the first oportunity and they always have some pearl's on their vocabulary (like traveller said: "{progressive artists} knows how to do it properly", when in fact everyone knows it's a matter of taste).

That's why they are less bashed IMO.
Anyways, I think it's a nice track.

Haldolium made a killer rmx at Black Eyed Peas - Shut Up!Heh I heard that track last month at Haldolium's performance in Greece! The track rocks but it would be better without Black eyed vocals...the mysticism of track doesn't match with blonde chick's voice           www.myspace.com/tasos_notrea

c'mon man what different full on styles???

but anyway, in haldolium's case, like traveller said, they actually know how to do it properly...
and the best example, imo, is pink floyd's trance remixes. haldolium made an excellent remix (by ANY standarts) to "one of these days". on the other hand you have 1200 mics (a well respected artists by any mean) remix of "another brick in the wall", a remix so bad it actualy made me feel sick (not joking...) and run around screaming blasphemy...
you get my point?           Out Here We're Stoned....

i think itīs just a matter of the artists backround, before they entered trance, like 1200 mics, with raja and chicago, two old guys, before trance what would they hear, pink floyd?? dire straits? most probably, about haldolium, i guess works the same way, different generation of course and differnet band tastes, so different rmx
i believe that no artist makes a rmx of a band or of a song they donīt like, and we judge those rmx by our own "rock" tastes, so if we donīt like the original "rock" song most probably we wonīt like the rmx at all.
the big 2003 summer hit, 1200 mics - money for nothing, i used to hate that song, the original one, so no matter how many people i saw jumpin to that track, for me it just didnīt work at all. when that song was played you would see people jumping on the dancefloor and me jumping OUT of the dancefloor
