Greetings Alexander of Macedonia, welcome to the forum. It's nice to know we have some people from THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA (cough cough nudge nudge Detox).

Welcome to you too Alek, Yugoslavia is a beautiful country, I bet you guys have some great places to party.
Why don't you guys tell us a little bit about the party scene over there.

Hey there..thanks for your responce. First Alek: Kako e vo Srbija ) Great to know someone from a country which we are bordering with, so the artists in Macedonia, mostly they are underground people not so famous, the ones who create their music, I can say here I am among them, I do create some amateurish music with my home-v studio. The DJ's, trance, are more famouse, like Navigator, Bushava Azbuka, Loon Moon, George, and a couple of others which I can't remember right now, but most attention I pay on the young and uncomercial (working for fun and not money only) DJ, like my friend DREAMWEB, Ypecacuano, Caphur, and other also.

I am now into Sofia, Bulgaria where I see that the trance scene in purer that the one in Macedonia. There are great names comming in Macedonia each month. The last parties that took place in Skopje, the capital of the Republic, were the one by Wizzy Noise, Astral Projection (it's worthless telling it, i don't like their way), soon Talamasca [on 29.11] and also I forgot to mention James Monroe. Many Many others...the last season of the trance music in MKD (Macedonia) was closed with the party of Infected Mushroom, which was great one.

And yes, KosMos the capital is Skopje, correct spelling, and the parties in it, as explained above, are good, some of them excellent, some of them pure. Glad we can speak through the language of the love and friendship, hopefully we won't mention any politics here..

Thanks again

Aleksandar, RM

well, we have Talpa (SunDance) and DJ Aki (Etnicanet). those are the only artists that released any music. although, more are on the way... Talpa album early 2003, Shox and so on...

the party scene is very bad though... sure, we have big names coming in all the time (in the past 6 months - im, ap, goa gil, electric universe, sun project etc...) but the "party people" are not that at all. lots of hotheads who know nothing about the music come to parties just so they good gulp up a huge amount of Es, take off their shirts and "have a wicked time"... really sad. the ones that understand the music, stay at home, because the atmosphere at the parties is very bad... fights and such.

it's very bad, but i home it's the worst it's gonna get. hopefully, things will be looking better in the future...

for all psytrance information in YU check out www.transmute.co.yu (serbian only, sorry)

and check out the work from talpa, shox and angry dwarf on - http://www.transmute.co.yu/various-mp3_repository.htm

hehe nice topic
welcome to the forum native friend(i don't know exactly who u r though:) and thx for presenting to our isratrance friends the trance situation in macedonia.
i'm sure that many don't know where this country is and how is it there......but the main thing to know is that we have quite a solid trance scene--many dj-s and some of them are unofficial(with no releases) artists like dreamweb and ogi...
and some info especially for the ones that think that the spirit of goa is faded: there is a guy in macedonia - Ogi, who makes amazing muzic, true psychadelic and spiritual like many of us hear it very very rarely these days. some of us know those tracks although r unreleased(don't we chris-shift??:) and belive me they are works of art.
ok ok u'll see soon when some of them are going to be released
regards from macedonia!!!
          Why u little !!!

Hi Lord Fugitive! Hi Alek!

I'm from neighboring Bulgaria, but I live in the US. :-/

I've a question for both of you. How come X-Dream come to Skopje and Belgrade so often? I noticed that they were in both Belgrade in Skopje in May/June and then again in Belgrade in October.

I really like their music but I've only seen the Delta once in Sept. 2001 and that's about it . They don't come to the States often enough!

Take care guys!
