Bregovic&Kusturica with his mad orchestra!
BTW Digital Vision can you recommend us some similar Balcan artists???Or they are unique?

Goran also made some Irish music and worked with Giorgos Dalaras (a famous Greek singer).
As for The No Smoking Orchestra - they've been playing together for 25 years.
Regardlessly, Emir worked with Goran for his movies.
Sadly I missed Goran's shows in Israel, but I've been to Emir's show half a year ago, and it was great.

There is a project called BALKANIKA. You'll find some really really good music on their CD. The orchestra tours all over the world and they put up stunning performances.

Shite. I almost forgot about FERUS MUSTAFOV. He is called the "Gipsy King" and he is a master of the saxophone and clarinet.
You can buy his music all over the internet.
And also check out Esma Redzepova-Teodosievska.
She is the "Queen". This is a very humane person. She has adopted more than a hundred children in Macedonia and she has had concerts all over the world. She was nominated for peace Nobel Prize. All of the money from her purchased CD's or concerts go to charity. |
