Anyone knows if ther's a remix of "Bhangra Fever"? Dj Cheb I Sabbah dropped something last night that sounded like remix .....it was too loud so I did not get any info from him

Yes there is a great "Heavy Nitro rmx" of that track by PunditZ themselves. Even more power on that one... It's only available at I-tunes, Rhapsody, Napster etc... I got it from I-tunes and the mp4-quality there is very good. The whole digital-only release "Six Degrees Remixed" is just a lot of fun... Try Issa Bagayogo - Touba (The Gaurav Raina PunditZ Mix) or Banco de Gaia - Tongue in Chic (MIDIval PunditZ rmx) ... I-tunes also has a "Rebirth" single with exclusive tracks from PunditZ ...

yep, midi punditz is really nice ambi chill!
i like the sitar, flute n shahnai samples they use...very blissful 
absolutely love the son kite - On Air [Midival Punditz Remix]. 'the missing peace' is a great compilation in association with shulman!
they played here in mumbai a few months back at this place clled zenzi...but too bad i missed it coz the post came late

Ihad a chance to hear them live with Karsh Kale on the drums and some guys whose name i forget now unfortunately on the vocals. All I can say is that this was by far in the top three musical experiences of my life. THe music along with the vocals were absolutely crystal. These guys are sooooooooo good and do make me very proud. |

I loved Karsh Kale's remix of MIDIval PunditZ track from their latest LP - got 7 of his latest tracks - yummy.
He'll be spinning again in Chicago in January 2007 - so far the most agressive/active world fusion/asian breaks/whatever dj set I've ever heard - massive bass/acid lines mixed heavy break beats/dark d'n'b and goa ....madness |

I think you might be talking about Vishal Vaid. He does the Ghazals for Karsh Kale and is absolutely brilliant. I got to see them live a couple of months ago and he stole the show. |
