Hey,

I've only recently entered the Israeli trance "scene".. I've gone to a few parties, had a good time and enjoyed the music (especially in the latest Tandav & Powerpuff party) but I have a problem: I only know international level artists. Most recommendations for albums are usually for artists like IM, Talpa, Filteria, Pleiadians, X-Dream, Shpongle (I know these are very varied types of trance but still). I really enjoyed Triac but never heard of 'em before the party!

What I am asking for is this: can you please give me recommendation for good Israeli artists, which I have a good chance to see in Israeli open parties? I would love to lose myself in music I know...

but how can you loose yourself in music you know?
anyway... it all depends on what kind of trance fits your taste... you have astrix on one hand (just an example folks) and iron madness on the other...
so do you like dark or melodic full on? do you like techtrance or south african power....?
if u dig deep enough u just might reach the sky...

Artists like Triac are not very common in Israel. But you should check Dark Soho.

I know and love Dark Soho... but they don't perform in Israel anymore!

Triac were great in the Tandav party, and I'm gonna get their album.

I'm looking for other gems that perform here.. for example, Sandman (though he's not new, unless your consider the remastering new) or Guinea Pigs (I've heard good things about these guys and they're gonna appear 18/08).

Of course you can lose yourself in music you know! It's not a journey of discovery, but a journey of warmth and expectance and moving in the beat which your know is right..

No, no Astrix, I have't heard Iron Madness (but I will). About the genres - I really have no idea what's the different between tech trance and South African power... but I do like melodies, as well as dark. Depends on the mood... varying sets are the best.
