I'm gonna buy a CD for a friend of mine who is pretty unknown to "our" music taste. I my self like the older Israsound best, and this: http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/yoy/yoy2cd055.html release seems to me to be a perfect gift to a person who would like to listen to some psytrance tracks. Wouldnt you agree, or would you give "your friend" another compilation? I just think this compilation includes alot of good "down to earth" psy tracks. My friend is as far as I know, not interested in "new" full-on or old Goa music.

best Regards,
Psytones

Edit: In my opinion, http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/pho/pho2cd193.html and http://www.discogs.com/release/206003 is also very good, pluss I have them my self.

buy some easylistened stuff so you wont scare him off.. if he likes it he might wanna dig deeper into it and explore some himself.. you could give him a taste of the ambient world aswell.. for example the new comp from ajana records.

Ajana: Mystical Journey? He got it, and he's allready into the chill music (CD's burned from me)

The first compilations which got me really hooked on psy are the two Crystal Skulls compiles from T.I.P...
I suggest checking them out... Really great tunes on both.           Dressed to kill you look so right... I am drunk with lust tonite.

I got Unusual Suspects, and I agree. Absolutely a good choice. Younger Brother is also good, but I would prefer Unusual Suspects Vol 2.

Chrystal Skulls I got, and it is one of my finest in the collection
