Hi guys, I have a question which is sort off topic, but anyway is related to trance. Me and a friend are planning to spend 3 weeks this december/january in Goa. But we have no idea of to get there from Japan. So, if any of you have any tips on how to make our (cheapest) way to Goa, please don't be shy. Info on costs, shortcuts, detours and parties will be welcome.

hey hi.
firstly welcome to india...
i guess the best option wud be to fly down to bombay..attend a party or two during the weekend around bombay..as the party season has picked up bro,,
then from bombay u cud either fly, bus or train to goa...
at goa u have hundred of shacks/rental places etc to stay at at pretty reasonable price..
at goa...the evening starts at nine bar.. nd then the party moves to the spiritual places (hehehe)...cud be hill top, paradiso...
the best thing keep your ears open and fr sure some good energy will pull you to party
boom!!!

first, get on the JET to bombay, look at the sky, check the shape of the moon, if its almost FULL, hurrry! party time sooon! get on the JET again to basco da gama and PARTY! if moon is not full, shanti shanti. get on the sleeper bus and enjoy hyper psycho bus trip to goa...
if you get there, don't forget to say hello to shiva temple in anjuna for your good trip! anjuna local people now makin' brand new shiva temple!!! wish you have ultra psychedelic vacation in goa!!!

buddy if you fly from japan to thailand....you can find some really cheap fare flights to india.......
lots n lots of people fly via thailand...thats the best option.....
plus,there are a few direct flights to goa every year during the peak session......may be you can get your hands to one of those.
once you in GOA........its just hire a bike n goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
really its a place where you need to follow people n you reach the parties...........

Hey Goa Ganges! I was in India last Dec-Jan and flew to Panjim,Goa via Bombay. Its definitely the easiest way but if you wanna save cash you can take a train or "sleeper" bus. Once there, rent a bike..its cheap and very convenient. Try to book a hotel and flight well in advance too since Christmas time is peak season. Parties are everywhere so no worries about finding one, although many are quite commercial so you might have to look hard to find that special party! And if you're in India for 3 weeks..don't stay in Goa the whole time for godsakes! Check out Hampi or Om beach in Karnataka (near Goa), very cool and less touristy. Have a great trip! You're gonna love the beaches and Goan seafood! If you want more info(hotel numbers etc) you can send me a private msg. Btw, I'll be back in India this Dec-Jan too..going to Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, can't wait! Hope that help you out a bit. Jayme |

Sihaya, may you tell us something about the sounds you danced to in Goa? I've heard things are pretty hard over there, tech-trance ruling, and some full-on as well. Wanna make any comment on this? Be welcome.

be prepared for anything/.,,it'll get very dark in the morning and very fluffy at night and then thr will b this godsend dj who will send shivers down ur spine .,, like bugzut last yr(can never spell his name)
ppl were actually crawling and wriggling on the ground.,, dont expect nething .,, goa will look after u |

I only went to one party in Goa(at the Hilltop) and the music was pretty full-on but nothing crazy. Unfortunately, the party was busted(on Christmas too!) and the music was shut down by 3am!! There weren't any well-known dj's there(as far as I knew) but I met some great people there from all 4 corners of the globe..including some friendly nihonjin. Oh, and I also went to some pseudo-club in Vagator with some pumpin full-on music but the vibe was pretty strange there. Hopefully you'll find what you're looking for, whatever that may be! |

listen up japanese babas..u guys needed a lot in goa..bring good vibes..too muh israel power in goa..japanese bring shiva power okey..also come fast faster u get into goa cheaper everything for u believe me..hurry!! also new party places this yr..so bring in camping gears babas |

Hi OldSkool! This is exactly what I am afraid of: to spend 3 thousand bucks...to listen to israeli trance in Goa! I'll wait and see what will be ruling Anjuna till december. I hope this israeli wave die fast...I can't come to like their sounds.
