I will definitely be going. I will be driving up from Southern Oregon, and I will have a seat to spare in my car. So if you're interested give me a message. I don't mind picking you up from some out of the way place, I love driving. In any case, bring positivity and willingness to share the burden regarding petrol. Shouldn't be outrageous, my car drives 35 mpg ;-) |

I have such an inexplicable amount of excitment about Goa Gil this year... The family vibe that comes out is so warm and welcoming that three days still won't feel like its long enough. It may not be enough time to get to experience all the beautiful places and altars that pop up out of nowhere, you walk around the lands and on your way back sometimes it seems like 2 or 3 new beautiful creations have poped up, its so fun, like little fairies are flitting about adding touches here and there!! this will be my fifth year getting the pleasure of witnessing such a specticale as gil performing for 20+ hours straight, The pleasure of seeing his shinning smiling face at 5 in the am when the sun is starting to rise and he is having so much fun, and its undeniable, its written all over that smile!! Its such a beautiful happy time it makes me smile and giggle just sitting here at my desk thinking about it!!
this is going to be outrageously beautiful cannot wait!!

sigh, i'm going to have to miss both west coast shows, again. i'm going to the east coast to visit family for both weekends.
i've been trying to get to one of these for about 5 years and just can't seem to get my schedule to work.
i guess there's always next year. |

The event is 35 miles West of Portland. The Portland airport is in SE Portland about 15 miles from downtown. It's super convenient to get to the airport and there will be *plenty* of folks to catch a ride with. Check the link a few posts above yours for the carpool link...I hope you make it.
