@ Janux how did the X'Mas party happen in hilltop.....any reviews......was there any other parties happening on X'Mas........hope to be there on the 3rd Jan........ ........

X-mas party in hilltop started at 6pm on 24th till 12 mid night on 25th ...good party,gr8 music,mad people...all in all it was gr8 fun 
sorry for the short review,will post a long one soon

friends ov mine told me that they were headed to banyan tree for the full moon party on the third, din speak to them after that....will let u'll know as soon as i find out boom!

the banyan tree party got cancelled on 4th of jan..3rd of jan dolce vita happ and it was the shittiest party i hv been to in a very long time......its sad but goa was dead this year.....hill top went on for 1 nite it got canned on 1st evenin at 9 or 10 dont know exactly but i left at 8..............
heard of a couple of parties happenin in morjhim and arambol.....i think u guys shud stay at arambol coz thts wer most of the parties seem to be happ of wat i heard arnd....
1st nite and 2nd nite no parties.......

dude the goa season is more than just the week around newyears.... there have been some great parties, some shit parties, and there will be more parties.... (and the hilltop party didnt get canned, it was supposed to end at that time)
@madrdx
janux played 5 times in goa... he has left and i think will be back later... he played at hilltop christmas which was a pretty good party (the newyears party was bigger), he also played at a Curlies party, he played at a party on the way to Arambol at 5am - 7am, he played at 9bar, and he played at a private party on newyears from 3am-5am. (nice party Tarun!)

there was supposed to be a fullmoon party in morjim, and also a 2-day one near Gokarna.... i think both happened but were small.... still waiting to hear news....
hopefully Jan & feb will be good, not as many people this year, but more people comming cuz newyear is over now.... and no more scare.

ahhhh yes banyan tree party got canned , some parties happened up north @ Kerim beach out of which 1 got canned by police ...I played @ Dolce Vita on 23rd nite at 1pm , and later Arjuna aka Accoustic Reaktion from Parvati played ...... following week Paolo from Goamantra records played @ Dolce Vita and another freind from Austria Zoran played in Paraiso ... Winter Demon played for NY at hilltop and at Club Westend also if im not mistaken ...South Anjuna @Sanjay's place had a nice scene too..I think christmas party at hilltop was better then New year yuck ,,, no good crowd . The party scene is shit in goa since a few years now , so better go there just to chillout ..Recently freinds did a nice party in Karnataka , heard it was amazing ..... Arjuna, Paolo, someone from Peak Records played

eew...never again goa for new years... it was like going to a funeral.
hilltop nye party sucked... music was just sooo ok, and the floor was a blackhole of stale energy - no matter how much u pumped in, nothing came out. Dolcevita is a scam - bad vibe, bad music...banyan tree party was a myth. Go to 9bar if you come off on watching indian guys harrass chics. West end is great, but only if you are a dj trying to make a name with yuppies.
Morjim-arambol is the last bastion..not very big parties but atleast the vibe is alive.
Next year, thailand. |
