I know it might be a bit earlier to ask but as im planning to return to Goa in December and some of my friends living there "painted" a scary picture...i was wondering how is it going down there??? Last time i was there was in 2005/06 and though not like the "perfect days" long gone, it was still smokin'...
As i said i was a bit worried with the words of some friends who after 4 years living there returned with some disapointing news (even to the point of maybe not returning there)...mind you that these were the people that in 2005/6 despite all problems were still enjoying it very much...
Can someone shed some light on this words???

I don't think anything is wrong with Goa. Its changed and all of that but I don't think its unsafe to be there.

just go and check it out, dont read anything bad on this forum which states that goa has changed. if you go unexpected youll get unexpected.

No bad thoughts here brotha...just some testemonies from people i respect and lived there for "some" time. Im also not a strange to Goa and i've seen the "evolution" of things there but i would like to know others opinion on the scene there - what has changed since 2005/6...i mean back than it was not perfect but i could still feel the energy which amazed me back in the days (my days i mean, i was not there in the 70's or 80's) and im just curious to know if its still something there...
I will always love Goa (Anjuna, Arambol, Cherim, you name it) but if i cant get the energy anymore i dont know if it would make sense to return there....not searching for ghosts!!!!!
