Guys really I see no info about goa here. I see one party posted here for the 21.. i landed today morn at anjuna... sea rock... very peacefull... nothing much seemed happenin... looked like paradiso had just closed shop... ROUND 5AM. Hopefulle will get some word on nayparty goin on... will keep posted... till then its off to nine bar for me for now.... boom!!!

Gil played indoors in a nightclub in NYC for NYE. Tickets were somewhere around $90 for the night.

So his running away from Goa 'cos it was commercial stopped making sense to me after I found out about this one.
Big respect to the man as always. Its just that a lot of people make him out to be some sort of god/guru who'se ALL about meditation and yogic activities. He's had his wild days too (especially goa in the 90s) its prolly just hard to keep up with the Goa-DJ-lifestyle for someone that weathered.
I have this weird tingling feeling that he'll back in a few years... after the psy scene in goa totally disappears underground.
And if my dreams really come true, he's going to stop playing all this dark techno psy and move on to chillout (someones gonna shoot me if that happens)  |
