Just got back frm goa..killer parties..russian new yr is today..i mean the party at arambol at the hill top not at the lake....08/01/06
Goa is always killer ...never want to come back....
Hope all of u had a killer new yrs and happy new yr to u all...have a nice year and hopefully many killer parties...

just came back from goa on sunday...went down for russian new year and friends wedding at the village
reached on friday afternoon...called up a few friends heard ther was gonna be a 2 day party for russian new year....night passed and went with many phone calls found out there was no party on as planned
saturday rolls around soon enuf...wake up late decide to head to curlies during the day to find out if party is happening...curly guys say party has just started at arambol at the lake...supposed to go on from 4pm till 4pm the next day 24 hour party...call bully to reconfirm this news he says party has already been shutdown by the cops...then tell the curlys guys this and they agree and say party has been moved to hilltop for the night...wait for the night....comes around 10 call up bully, bhoj, dash, the people who are in the loop of the party scene in goa...all say no party is happening tonight
so me and my friendn say fuck it all...well have our own russian new year celebration monkey valley style....was at a wedding at the taj and all the freaks of the wedding wanna go to monkey valley to...so we as soon as the oldies leave and just hte kids are left..we start blasting jellyheadz on hte beach with a good sound system....
i hope the party on sunday happened for all the people in goa

hey ppl...was at goa for more than a week starting Christmas!
frankly speaking..dissapointed about the raves there...nothing cmpared to waht used to happen before. This year its more European sounds..more banging as compared to the melodies of israeli full on!
parties were organized by europeans..i guess that could ber also a reason for that!
but nothing beats GOA for its beauty! The beach at Arambol which has a fresh water lake is the most amazing location for a RAVE i have ever thought of:-) just out of this world!
I think I would not go to GOA for the Raves only...sad about having such a feeling but thats the fact! too much of commercialization hitting the scene..went to the new years party to the same beautiful location! The sound sucked big time....and ppl were charged 300 bucks...was pathetic! and hilltop was charging ppl i guess until the last minute of the party...guess they were trying to make all that they could:-)
well my view is I would go ther for the beauty of the place! any good rave would be an added bonus! but wont raise my epectations and go there... |

was in goa from 23rd to 3rd!! 10 days of total ecstasy (pun unintended)!!!

jimbo! whenever he wud play his track wit gms - mozart, he wud look around, n smile! n anyone who was lookin at him wud smile back too! n i also 'had' to smile! lol, wat a phukking track dude! didnt know it will sound so good on those boom boom speakers! i was waitin on 3rd for this track to come, n wen it came, all i cud do was smile smile smile n more smile n still more smile!
hilltop was ok too! the biggest sound system for a psy party (in the whole world??) crowd was little bit commercial, but den after the drops, who cares all i see is music den!! BooM ah n yes! the israelie girls! a humble request!! plz teach the indian girls how to dance like u! wicked!!!
doesnt matter if some parties got canned n some not, it was all gud in the end! i dun wanna cry over spilt milk! moreover, i feel the importance of the parties is increased if they try n stop them!
met sooooo many nice nice ppl! indians as well as phirangs! mumbai boys are the best. though i have stayed in delhi more! mumbai boys really rock! was laughin n creatin a ruckus wit some of em outside hilltop on 31st! they were really funny!! gave me some sugar cubes too!! wild
met some guys from isra also!! was really nice!! smoked so many chillums wit motion-in-motion in curlies!
i have been livin in kerala for the last 2 years! they call it god's own paradise! but after this trip of goa, i told my frenz, "nah man, its not kerala! its GOA! goa is the real paradise!!" damn!!!! on 3rd nite, i didnt want to go! but my train was waitin n i had too! it was a rockin experience! damn! another 360 odd days, we'll have to wait for gettin to the paradise again!
bout arambol! we tried goin there once, but the party was already over, n while comin back, the cops were tryin to stop us (u know for wat), but we didnt stop as we were all (3 guys on 1 bike, oops) fully loaded!!! luckily they didnt chase us or maybe i was too fast a driver for em [was on microdots u see ]. so we cudnt see arambol when it was on! but its ok! i guess i had to leave somethin for next year!
n monkey valley! damn! i never knew somethin was happenin down there! otherwise wudda definitely gone there!
bt its all gud!
the parties in shiva valley are the best! its so cozy! m so used to place now! for 4 days n nights i stayed there only! hav become so comfortable wit that area! besides they know me for long time now! so its cool they wud start at 4 in the mornin cuz the permission for nite wasnt all that easy to get!
n y doesnt congress shove itself up its own arse?! dont they have anythin else to do! the locals were so pissed wit em! heard there was a protest march on the 25th followin which they allowed the rest of the parties! damn guys! sum1 plz drop a hoffy in their tea or somethin! thats the only solution to a problem which they have created!
neways! hope this new year bring lotsa acid along ur way n u trip harder than ever before

Reading some reviews I have some memories from the time I spent in Goa, would love to b there again T_T

hi people........
just back from goa was there from the 26 dec and i guess that was the best time to be  there got a lot of parties got one on the same day at Shiva Valley was a crazy  party that went on till 28 mornin  ....the next was at Arambol on the 29 by bulli was ok<was in a shack>
the next big thing was HILLTOP:Monkey Valley:Curlies:Arambol all starting on the 31.... 
was confused visited Curlies and Monkey Valley but stayed at  HILLTOP was a crazy lineup.....was there tll Theo could stop.........
the next party began at 4:00 am on 2 at shiva was amazin went all till evenin the we headed for a private party at Sweet water lake Arambol coolllllllll....
after this nothin much was on as parties were getin called off came back on the 8 one party was supposed to start on this day.....
one party cominup on the 11<supposed to be Russian New Year Party at Monkey Valley>....
 THE BIG ONE SHOULD BE ON THE 21 JAN'06 AT HILLTOP A 30 HOUR PARTY <will get some more details by the 18>

jes back from goa a couple of hours ago..was there for about 10 days....
to be very honest i expected to be partying much more than i did..atleast the consolation was i was pretty much at every party that happened...so that way i pretty much KILLED it..haha..
the only thing that wasnt mentioned upto now was the party on the 8th...it was supposed to be on the 7th but a lot of confusion as people have been sayin it was shifted 2-3 times....we guys stayed jes next to hilltop so checked out hilltp at 9:30 nuthin was done yet so we were sure there was no party...but on th 8th it was a sweeet scene...loads of russians...loads of GOOOOOD music..no idea of who the djs were but the guy in the night am sure was a very very talented guy he played for 4-5 hours and the best mixing i have witnessed...it was very different...kept on mixing and mixing..full power..!!
morning scene was amazing ..the sun brought in much too much energy into the people and only smiling people for hours and hours..party was scheduled to go on till the night..i was fried by 11..so thought i would take a break and come back but saw cops on the way heading to the party and sadly the party had to end around 11:30 in the mornin...but one of best party..vibes wise.....very very positive..
apart from that..arambol was a completely different party than the one i had ever seen...it was complete israeli madness....tooo much energy on the floor people were dancing and dancing all thru the night..was excellent.....
well heard about a few good parties coming up....the main on as said i guess is on the 21st...heard it is going to be on for 24 hours..so people around there..keep them ears open...
uptil then not too sure about the scene but yes a lot of artists around..jes keep walking in vagator or arambol and u will see an artist pass you by...or quite a famous dj chilling in curlies...
all in all good scenes in goa

didnt party as much as i thought i wo uld..
juss was chilling and get to know people whove been hre for a while..
their thoughts on goa. are very much away from what i se eon this forum..
its pretty wierd.. but theres aways more to any story...
head back home today.. dont think i met anyone from the forum..
maybe next time or osmewhere else..

just got back from goa...was terribly dissapointed with the scene..
luckily i got to hear ali play at 9 bar on 6th...played really well...black sheep rocked bro...
had high hopes for the russian ny party on 7th but nothing happened and that bummed my trip...
paradiso had a big one on 7th i heard...nothing on at monky valley,arambol or kerim beach...hilltop was also off....no party at shiva valley in the last couple of days...things have changed drastically....lots of politics...n hungry cops....sad...
the party at ashwem yest was the saving grace of my trip...went on till about 11am...wicked music n vibes...
my friends r still there..hope they get some killer parties..i cut my trip short to come back n chill in boombay..
but travelled to a lot of new places in goa....and caught some killer sunsets..
i heard kerim is on tonight(post russian new yr party since the earlier one was bummed)...but u never know....
P.S check out dj paulo dishing out some proggy/full on tunes at 9 bar on 12th...heard him at roys(anjuna) and he plays well and enjoys his music
