Dude, the whole party is supposed to be a dancing and musical celebration conducted by Goa Gil. He only does it this way, and maybe that's why he is who he is.

i heard him at 12 hours set.
at his birthday last year he played 48 hours set.
and his high is 56 hours set...

Because I´ve already heard very very good things from some ppl and not so good ones from other ppl...
they were all djs, good djs, so I´m on this big big doubt...

well, his set was very Goa and emotional.
it was litlle after at desert place. he played from 12.00 till 24.00 and was very good on music choice and very bad on his mixing skills.
the highlight was that i just didnt knew NO ONE of his trax...
his set was soft Goa tunes with great flow and melodies but as i said mix is not his joker... |

but I think it´s gonna be a good party here anyway...
I heard that his wife will play some drums and stuff like that, but maybe it´s just a gossip...

although i think tecniche is a important thing for a dj we should put in on other terms when talking about the GOA GURU...its not a simple set but a story, an experience...OLD GOA SPIRIT...the guy says he likes playing 24 hs because is an appropriate time for the person to reach "the" mental state..."transe" they also say he does a sort of ritual in the place before to evocate the good spirits...SOUND NICER NOW...ANYONE WHO DOES HAVE A CHANCE GO!!!!
just a little about jorg and raja, the first one, according to himself, is not a dj, but a storyteller!!!!i'va heard he lets musics end, short silent break, puts another cd...
bout raja, mixing or not i just could never forget about 3 years ago in TRANCOSO HE PLAYING DEEP FOREST IN THE DANCEFLOOR...ULALA...

these "old goa dat players" when play, don't need to be worring about technics...they are/have the "trance soul" , they don't need to be playing just new tracks and make the perfect mix......they are there transmiting energy, taking people to other places, "beyound mind and individual experiences to become one in ttrance dance experience"......

If we visit Klatu's site we'll see that Goa Gil doesn't consider himself a dj and doesn't want to develop DJ Skills. Yet he says DJing is an individualist condition, once a DJ wanna b recognized by his skills and style and Gil believe music celebration is a "little" more than that.

killer party!!
one of the best parties I´ve ever gone, even though I didn´t connect very much to Gil´s music... very very very full power for me... I have to admit that I´ve missed some groove on it...
Anyway, 24 hs set was amazing.... nice trip!
He made some juice out of our brains! 
Congrat´s Boom & Daime Tribe crew! Once again making a killer party, I mean KIIIIIIIILLER party for us!
Way to go 1000, Nena, Diogo & Pedro!
