i think people dont play that long cause of money, i know gil dont care boutr money that much but if it was me id like to get payed. if you consider playing 12 hour set damn thats so much money youds be good for a few months |

i don't agree with this! i can't even stand to listen to shift for one hour.. let alone 12..
i definitely choose gil bc he plays the music i love (150 bpm of chains in concrete? people who don't understand this kind of music just loves to say stuff like that), and what's better is that he plays it for 20 hours straight! his parties are always great! bc here in my country all we get is full on parties all year long and when gil comes it's such a relief!!
but i must say that i only choose him over the music, bc i think all that spiritual stuff is crap and he doesn't seem like a very nice person, at least the few times i got to talk to him, but who cares, he's just there to play the music and that's what matters
raja ram on the other hand seems like a nicer person, but i really don't like his kind of music!!

i understand about the Shift artist
but and if it was Penta?or Kdd?or Osom?
Goa Gil parties are always full of energie, yes it is true, and he also built his own reputation along the years, and right now the way psytrance is no org with make a party with only one Dj or only one artist - it simply it is not viable.
i bet many many dj´s/producers would love to play more than 2 or 3 hours, but right now this almost doesn´t happen.
i have read a few months ago an interview where penta said he would love to play for 8 hours in a row.would an org book him to play in this conditions?
i mean this takes room for another artists..less artists, less income in the audience/crowd.
it is the way psytrance is now

and another reason i dont care if hed play is because majority of his tunes are not even produced by him. hes a dj for most of his set so who cares id rather hear those artists |

ram for the energy and live performance....
@ maxijou....you look more obsessed than the obsessed people for gil.......
