Gil~wow! Its hard to articulate this experience to do it justice. I think next year will be even more amazing. Due to the fact we will have experience and more time than two weeks to make it happen. In my opinion it was a total success. Its amazing how it all came together with two weeks of planning.
~Gil is an amazing individual with a wealth of knowledge. I was so impressed with the stamina and ammount of great music he has.
To me the music wasnt dark at all. The was he progressing in a 24 hr set is done so well and definatly different than any set ive ever heard.
~I also want to thank Kevin and aastril, their love and support was everything we needed to bring this all together. I dont know what we wouldve done without them.
~anyhow~ This was the highlight of my summer and thats saying alot. I cant wait till i get to experience this madness again. Thank you Jarryd Jake Pippi Jason & everyone else that contributed to this event, and bringin it to Arkansas.

what can I say.. Gil came to Arkansas. when they told me about the possiblity of gil months ago I didnt think it would happen, and honestly it almost didnt happen.

If it wasnt for Jake and Jarryd saying fuck it were bringing him ourselves, this would have never went off at all. Thank you guys, good god, its been a season of firsts that keep topping each other. From the amazing week of the AUM festival to Simon Posford twisting our minds at Gamma Fest, to Goa Gil coming and blessing the hollow with a 25 hour set, its been one crazy ass season.

what a way to end it, good lord. I wish I had ten times the energy I did there, why do I always get sick for the good ones? I still couldnt resist tapping the staff and stomping to the madness.. gil you are one dark nutter! how a man of what .. 57? .. can hold it down so dark and so fast for so long, alludes me, but man it was something different for sure. I think my highlight of the set was a block of dark scando a la grapes around like 4 or 5 am. madness, reminded me of AUM again.

this one pooped me out proper I slept for a day and a half after it was said and done (so much for class!) but I'm better now and reflecting on the madness.

Gil loved it, He'll be back, I'm sure of it!

damn, you lucky bastards got a block of scando music??? at 4 am no less...
we were in 190 bpm rape carnage hell at that hour in cali the week before.

i heard not one squishy-style track his whole set except for a mubali one near the very very beginning and a new penta track at like 3 in the afternoon. it was a great dissappointment for me, considering he has the new sanaton comp on his current list (i heard one track from that comp, the zik one- a very good track but the least squishy/scando of the whole cd).

but man if you guys got scando music at 4am then i think gil is just trying to punish california in eternal hell... or something.

perhaps because he has spent so much time and energy in insane worlds-- I'm sure being a sadhu intensifies the meditation
we're lucky to have such an example of psychedelic strength

Sounds to me like Gil took it easy since it was the first time in Arkansas. Give it a few more parties and things will get hairy.

Anyone know who does the 190+ track he is playing. I was thinking maybe Rawar or someone like that... Maybe I am totally off though...

I know Furious has a 190 track on his new album ... it's very clean ... and very fast !

Yes theres Furious - Powered Psycho 190 - the last track on the album.... and the other one i know about is an unreleased Kokobloko (Darkshire vs. Gregory) which happens to move at 220 hehehehe enjoy

Gil played fast...as hell..... Gil played psychedelic....like ALD-52 psychedelic....

but dark? little bit..... but I don't consider much of what he played "dark as it gets", by a long shot
