gms 1200 switzerland want to know the truth?

for all who are interested its 7:00 am in the us just got an msn from a friend regarding more gms 1200 bashing SUPRISE SUPRISE.
I WILL RESPOND only because you people arent even close....to make a long story short
remo the promoter freeked on acid at the party and accused raja ram of doing black majic on his festival,SHOULD I EVEN GO ON THE PROMOTER FREEKED OUT ON TO MUCH ACID

HE SAID GMS WAS GREAT ZORBA GREAT BUT 1200 WAS TERRRIBLE RAJ DID BLACK MAJIC ,WHAT A SPACE CADET, so he goes and tells his BIRDS you people called them and they start the vicious rumours, the guy didnt want to pay anyone dissapeared for a day then finally decides to pay they never had any 800 euro breakfast in fact they got left at the hotel and had to pay 300 euro for a taxi to zurich ,hmmm i wonder who is fucked up here gms or the BIRDS anyway
this was the fault of a very stupid promoter who books gms zorba and 1200 mics in the same party doesnt bring anyone else really and then at a 5000 person party decides to take lots of acid at his own festival!!!!!!
as i said time and time before gms our the most proffesional and down to earth guys i ever met this ego story has been created by people who dont like their full on style and the rest of you go believing it like a flock of sheep people were supposed to be open thinkers next to a little research
ps. as for the live set raj plays flute thru some parts and the boys are adding sounds the whole time anyway name one artist who does a real 100% live, you cant it doesnt happen sorry to all who though it did it doesnt! peace to all sethspun

About Raja Ram, a friend of mine who went to this party, and whom I told about the "Birds" post.. answered me that he was standing very close to the stage to watch him play, and that one could hear when he played wrong notes.... so ??
My words in this post remain my opinion, not especially aiming at GMS, but also all musicians from all genres..

I dont think that its actually possible to perform an 100% live act from the very little musical knowledge that i have.
Nice to hear seth's story on the subject,i also cant believe that the guys could actually spend 800 euros on breakfast like the promoter said.
If also the promoter accused Raj of doing black magic then i would like to see that in personal and die from laughing LOL
And also i have to mention that its not really good for a promoter to take drugs at his own event.
Anyway every coin has two sides so i guess the truth is somewhere in the middle

It´s very nice to hear the other side... I bet pp from the first post didn´t expect this... nice Seth, very nice!
Just make a real live set, it can not be 100%, it´s psychedelic eletronic music, it got to be eletronic, but there r some stuff going on with lives... I´m not talking about gms, I´m talking about fake lives that spread all over now... I don´t really hv spun as my favorite label, but, u guys seems very professional, so don´t let artists under ur label do fake live acts... if not for me, for ur good name.
And that´s all, cheers, and keep on the good work...

A friend of mine told me, that sethspun wrote very bad about me in the net!!!
Ok dear seth, now I see. A Labelmanager really need towrite so shit or what!?!
I am Marcel, the real Promoter of the "SKARABAEUS II" Festival in Switzerland and its the very first time, somebody from the freeked out Organisation write since the party in the net!
YOU, DEAR SETH WRITE ABOUT THE TRUTH?!?!?

Oh, this is really a horrible short story; the promoter of a 5000 people-Party freeked out of to much acid and told to everybody, Oh sorry to the BIRDS, Raj is doing black majic!?!?!
Are you really so stupid to believe, that a 22years old Hippiechild is the only promoter of this festival is? Remo is a friend of mine and he helped me to make the bookings for the spun & Tip crew.
Now, its really funny to understand, why Paul Taylor askedme before 1200Mics was starting their really bad Playback-SHOW, "you dont wonna take acid for the 1200Mics set, Marcel? its time for Zero-1" What I didnt know in this time was, he asked the same to Remo!!!!!
I sad no; I dont need anything!! I dont smoke nothing, I dont take any kind of psychosubstances! THIS IS THE TRUTH!!! Yes remo took while 1200Mics set liquid, but he didnt freeked out because to much acid, he was sad and angry that you spunguys really think, not only the people are stupid also the young promoter stupid. We wanted to KNOW, whats going on with this Show? And the Answer was;"Remo is freeked out, we dont know, what he saw, we played really Live!" Hey spunguys, how old are you??? I also know its not possible to make 100%LIVE. But this was the Point I booked 1200Mics, because they have Congadrums, transverse flute and Voicesamples. And all this makes the Liveset a little big more Live, because I dont like the 100%Laptopacts! But from the hole equipment only the laptop and mixer was working, no Congas, no flute...
For what or WHO they made the soundcheck in the afternoon? I was tired of this "wannabearockstaraffectations".
I didnt slept 4nights&5days and I sad to the people after the Festival, "can put this guys to the airport who wants, but not me."
After the 10nd Motherfucker from Riktam at the Phone I tried to apologised me, for an other guy who talked about bad ENERGY at the phone to Riktam. In this time my voice was broken because of to much shouting and the other guy took my phone.
Riktam also said to me at the phone:"Are you really so naiv to believe that 1200Mics are really live? Michael Jackson also makes a Playbackshow. Buisness is Buisness" Ok I only tried to explained that somebody is coming in 5minutes to the Hotel for driving to the airport. But they liked to go with the Taxi!
Also People, its truth I am stupid to make a half spunrecordslabel party!!! But I learn fast!
It was my 2nd Party I ever did in my Live and without any sponsors!!!
FACTS are:
I paid for G.M.S&Zorba 6600€, for 1200Mics&Rajas Dj Set 7500€ again, for Paul Taylors set 800€ and Chicagos set 700€, Flight & Hotel for this guys 4000€, special equipment they didnt needed 1000€ and at last more then 1000€ for room service, but people the breakfast was included in the Hoteltax!!!! THATS THE TRUTH!! And when somebody dont believe this, I can scan and publice all bills in the net, thats NO PROBLEM.

I was there and must say that Star Sounds was really live, with live-vocals, Bongos and Gongs!!
D-Tek was also cool like the most swiss DJs, so Î really waited for 1200mics after so nice music and LIVE-Shows I was ready for the heroes...
So I was really closed to Raj and Chicago while the Live-Set.. It begins: Raj says something in the Microphon, live.. After this Live-Vocals at the beginning (maybe 6 words) really NOTHING was live... Sorry but I never saw a playback like this, Raj and the other guys didnt have a plan what they shout play, what kind of sequence will come in the track... In a fact I only saw 2 Clowns quickly change from flute to the bongos and sometimes they played the keyboards with the ellbows... So you guys are really the heroes... I never saw someone play keyboards with his ellbows, you guys have talent...

PS: I find it funny that the one track of the new album you played 2 times because the crowd loved it so much -first time heard at this party- was a coverversion of Dire Straits "MONEY FOR NOTHING"

but how come... there is soooooo much bullshit and bad staff around GMS & friends?...
i mean, as i see it now... a party orgenizer should think 10 times b4 booking, why?!
why when u book a live act u get a playback?!
why when u book u should worry if they`ll show up?!
too bad, and shame
start to think about your croud guys, coz without them u can shove your name... i know where.

Well as i see it first of all whenever somone is a sucsess so he makes many enemies.
I saw the same thing a couple of years ago with infected.
All the dj's plaied them, then they made it big time like gms is doing last couple of years so suddenly they became a target to bash.
thats the way it works.
About the live there was a live or wasnt it doesnt matter if it wasnt in any kind of written contract.
And if the crowed enjoied hwo cares!!!

about the live or not live... well, u r right
the bottom line is if the croud enjoyed or not.
but its not an excuse not to do what u`ve been payed for!
and about the contracts... thats just fucked up man, sorry.
its sooooo sad to see that this whole scene become one big contract.
