i listened to some psy trance artists in a SF Tower records shop (don't remember exact names) and what i heard was some kick-open hats-snare combos with some tb303 and ts404 lines, which sucked ass.. give us something COOL!

Quadra is Ido Liran born in Israel but lives in Los Angeles..currently has an album out on Boom Records (Holland) old school trance style..great melodies, twisted sounds and solid bass lines--good stuff

I heard some of new Quadra Stuff, really wicked clubby dancefloor smashers with a psy touch.
He recently did a remix for DJ Tiesto and Ferry Corsten. |

Hi All,
A few artists to keep your eyes on from the States:
Penta - This Russian fellow living in Berkeley, Ca. is really ripping things up with a very distinctive and fullon sound. He will be playing live at Boom this year, so check him out if you are in Portugal this summer.
Wormfood - A nice meshing between an Industrial Tech-Psy-Trance Metal hybrid. Very good and unique sound out of the bay-area as well. NightTime madness!
Phosphene - This is the material I am producing...http://www.phosphene.org
Expect some new material very soon.
Nuem - Very good prog-psy, clean production. Nice and bouncy. Out of Philly I believe.
A few others are cropping up too like Rasa, Tendril, Ocelot, and Deeper in Zen (keep your eyes on his label Solar Records).
Also expect some fresh new material from the Spectral Concepts bin very soon as well....
