Where can I get the best example of this documentary? Is it possible to buy it some where? Where did you download it from Pointy? I need to have it in good quality. Still havent seen it, and i'm really really wishing to see it soon.
BTW. I bought the documentary called "Grass" on play.com for 4 puonds. Very pleasent documentary of the history of weed in the US. Go see it

Thanks for the great tip. But it's on VHS O_O And I would like to have it on DVD. + quote: NTSC format (US and Canada only. This VHS will probably NOT be viewable in other countries.
I will try to google for it once in a while. Maybe I should contact the producers ect for more information about a DVD release
I got a link from FrO ----> http://www.piratebay.org/
But of cource.. Nothing beats having these type of objects in original..

As far as I rememeber that documentry has those exact interviews.
There is another documentry called Taboo by National Geographic, all about peyote, san pedro and rituals etc. Really cool!

it's not in anyway politically related.....so no shows like "lsd taking is good for you" or "the government sucks ass "

Not a movie, but I suggest Oscar Janiger's study on LSD and creativity to everyone. Forgot, the full title of the book, but shouldn't be too hard to find.

raz what you mean leary is not interesting in story of lsd. he is one of the main characters of the psychedelic revolution, you cant just cross him out.
has anyone noticed on vibe tribe's album, nearly all the samples are taken from this movie?

look i just think it wasn't smart of him to say that all people should take lsd....
he made some stupid remarks which threw a whole new character on lsd.....he destroyed the barrier of using lsd as a mind altering drug and made it into a something more of a partything or a cool thing to do...
i just don't like the guru thingie he was doing
for me there are other things i find more intresting than "hallucinating" when i read about lsd

This Doc is excellent; LSD - The Beyond Within. It's a BBC production from the 1980’s; it contains amongst others a lot of interviews with Albert Hoffman. The sample from the hallucinogen classic - LSD, is from this doc.

His problem was that he didn’t want to comprehend the fact that some people (a small percentage) have a weak psych, thus LSD can cause psychological-trauma in other words it can awaken psychological problems that otherwise would not have surfaced. Although I think Timothy Leary’s intentions were pure (when stating that everyone should take LSD) the result was that LSD was prohibited.
