So Wichdokta has been kind enough to extend an invitation to throw down @ Gemini so i figured it's best to get a jump on figuring out how the f*ck i'm gonna get there.
I am planning on flying to reno (unless somebody has a better suggestion), so i'm hoping to find a way to/from the airport to Beldin. Anybody have a spot in their car to offer? I'd be more than willing to throw down gas $.
If nothing else, is there anybody flying into Reno that we could split the cost of car rental.
The cost of flight alone is already looking steep, so i'm trying to avoid renting a car by myself. However, if i gots to, i gots to...

I'm finally making it out to this from Iowa. So I will be probably flying into Reno and I am down to throw down on a rental.
Unless there are some more Psyowans making out to this which I am sure of. But keep me posted!!

My plan is to fly from Chicago to Reno on Friday (midday), rent a car, drive to Belden, party, drive back to Reno on Sunday early afternoon and fly back to Chicago. Of course it may change slightly cause of flight times.

I had the same problem. We ended up flying out to sacremento, then renting a car once we got there. It's only about a two to three hour drive tops.
I REALLY wish I could go back this year.  |

I live in Reno, and Im planning on heading over to Belden probably Friday afternoon (flexible). Probably only room for 1, with all the camping gear. But yeah, its about 2 hours on beautiful mountain roads. PM me and we'll see what we can arrange!

Booked my ticket. Arriving in reno friday of party around noon and flying out of reno Sunday around 1:30pm. Anybody who wants to get together w/ me and book a car, let me know. figure pending on the ride, we can get 3 or 4 peeps to a car. So, who's with me??

Well, prolly just going w/ the cheapest, which would be an economy car (~$20/day). Haven't booked anything yet. If enough people can work w/ those times, we could look into something larger.
Also, signup at kayak.com to get daily price alerts on the Chi/RNO flights. I've still been getting them and the flight prices fluctuate like mad. $90/day swings sometimes. Saw as low as 200 direct after i had purchased mine
