Greetings and salutations,
This is a call to all who want to help this year, make the 12th Annual Gemini Festival the beautiful gathering it is! I ( Wichdokta ) am stepping back from the riegns this year ( Sonja and I are having a child ) and letting the community come together and truely make Gemini the National Family Gathering it is.
I have offered the job of overall production manager to Lawerance, aka Paradigm, and he has happily accepted. I've been in contact with him several times already and things are flowing like the river Tao.
As for the rest of the things that need to be done for the show, he ( Paradigm ) will need assistant co-ordinators who head certain jobs and helpers to get the jobs done. It will be a sort of a production class for those who want a good education on working well with others!
The assistant co-ordinators need to be people who can work on the job at hand with the neccasary respect of getting the job done right. This will mean lots of e-mails and phone calls for 5 months. It will also mean having the right people working with you. Many times have I had the wrong person for the job and it has costed me. Lots of folks will want to help, but in reality, they don't have the time. So the helpers have to be people you can count on. Paradigm will help with this and any problem you have.
As for the area's that need co-ordinators;
1. Sound System and DJ gear ( Main Floor and Chill Area )
2. Generators and extension cords ( for sound, lights, ect. )
3. Atmospheric Lighting ( Main Stage Blacklights and Chill Area Can Cans )
4. Chill Area Line Up
5. Chill Area Deco
6. Main Stage Deco (PsyLotus has the job)
7. Alters (Josie has the job)
I ( Wichdokta ) will have the venue secured and the Dome for the Chill Area set up and tore down by the folks who own it.

It's an exciting time for me, having a newborn child and letting the eldest one go. But I have full faith that you will take care of it as if it we're your own. For when it came to Gemini, I tried my best!

it seemed to go really well last year and i already have some ideas

gemini last year was great! wish i could of helped more but i was there with my little one which was taking most of my attention. If i didnt live WAYYYY out here in ohio i would definitely agree to help. but who knows...if i can make the trek again i can help when i get there.
quick question.....i would like to get in contact with ember and andres who did deco for the main stage area last year. i actually saw them at the Rothbury Music Festival in Michigan a few weeks later which was defiantly nice. I would like to get them out here to OHIO. |

Awesome! Congratulations on the new addition Richard and Sonja! When is Sonja due? Do you guys know if it's a boy or a girl? I can't help too much with the party but if you guys need old kids' stuff (clothes, toys, crib, etc), just let me know.

Way to go Lawrence! I know with all your experience with Straylight and the DEA parties, you'll do a great job!
